The security guard apparently told a group of people on the pontoon boat to move, but then he was attacked (some believe it was racial). In retaliation, the people in the riverboat jumped out to save the security guard and all hell broke loose. You can see a guy hitting a women with a chair. It's pretty amusing. |

The fact that I have anxiety and I'm required to talk about my hobbies and personal life in front of an audience is completely nerve wrecking and makes me think they're being presumptuous. I figure if I'm going to be anxious, I might as well do something ridiculous so I can spread the point across. "HI class my name is _____. I am the first of my name, king of semantics, the keeper of secrets. I have no pronouns. I have no gender. I am a fragment of your imagination. I only exist because your mind created me. So if I up one of my meals to 70 g of protein, I'll have a total intake of 190 grams. The only gripe I'm having is the difficulty upping my protein intake without increasing my calorie load. I'm eating 2500 calories a day for maintenance with most of my protein coming from chicken, broccoli, tofu, non-whey protein shakes. Is there anything else you can reccomend for me? It's no wonder he can do calisthenic workouts that would make professional athletes look weak in comparison. But even with his strength, I've always wondered why his body composition was incredibly skinny. I don't think it's a matter of genetics, but more of an issue regarding his diet. I bet he didn't eat enough, yet alone consume enough protein for the amount of recovery his muscle needed. I think his body was constantly in a catabolic state where his muscles were atrophying due to lack of proper amino acids. I think if Bruce Lee was eating 200 grams of protein at 4000 calories a day, doing the same training regimen, I think he would have been incredibly swoll, similar to body builds you see of calisthenic athletes today. What do you guys think? |

I was always under the assumption that as long as I get my protein intake by the end of the day, it doesn't matter how much I have in one meal. It's no wonder I've been having the same body build despite seeing an increase in my strength. Now I've been experimenting for a month with my diet by having four, 40 grams of protein meals every 3 hours. As a result, I feel like I recover much faster after an intense workout and I've been seeing an increase in my chest mass and strength like never before. Who would have thought protein intake required proper portioning? Now it makes sense but also makes me wonder if martial artists like Bruce Lee would have been incredibly big if he had just upped his protein intake with the same training regimen? Protein is amazing *flexes* |

Wait...so if I normally wear an XXL and I look semi brawny, would I look fat and non-muscular when I wear an XXL oversized tee or would the different cuts in the sleeve make me look more muscular? |

Wouldn't a person just buy a bigger size shirt from their original size if they wanted something oversize? Why complicate things by making a medium look like a large when they could have bought a large instead. It's just tricky and increases the chances of buying the wrong size. |

One thing I like about this show is how unpredictable it can get.Another theory: Printer girl will be arrested by the secret service because Chao and Young Jun will end up selling her out. This is very plausible considering Chao's close relationship with officer Lee. The SS need a culprit and Chao's smart enough to realize that, even if that means severing ties with Ah Sahm. I'm also thinking the story could pivot where season 4 is all about Ah Sahm's journey outside SF. |

| Iamdepressed 07/23/23 10:40:06 PM #44 | I think the only reason why this show isn't getting major press is because it discuses extremely sensitive issues regarding racism between the Irish and Chinese communities, industrialists that exploited cheap labor, and politicians who colluded their way into passing the exclusion act. If it was some fantasy world like GOT or Breaking Bad that wasn't based on semi-historical facts like with Warrior, then I would assume it would be the most watched show in the US. The show paints racism in a very disturbing way that most viewers would be terrified of watching. |

Without much detailed context, I was told it's supposed to trick my brain and supposedly rewire my synapses in a way where I won't feel depressed. Then I just switched the word "better" with "laid" and it made much more sense to me. Today, I did exactly that. I went to buy groceries and instead of doing my usual monotonous greeting that made me seem zombified and expressionless, I decided to spice things up for the sake of opposite action. I thought to myself, what is the most ridiculously corny thing I can say to this beautiful cashier that I would never dare to say? I wiped the sweat on my palms off the side of my jeans and I pressed the floor as I could feel my body tensing into flight-or-fight mode. My body subconsciously shifted my entire weight onto my right foot as if I was getting ready to swing a punch. Then my mind turned into goo and I said, "What TV show is this? Are you an actress or something? I think I've seen you in that show Lost?" She giggled and was eager to explain that she's studying to get into med school. We had a good 2 minute talk before someone else showed up in line. I think I'm going to try this from now on. Opposite action baby. |

Some of the posts are heartbreaking; you have people drowning in debt and all they're asking is for $50 to get them throughout the month. In contrast, here I am spending $50 on RIOT tokens, so that I can play League of Legends, and I'm still complaining about how miserable my life is. I need to be grateful for what I have. What are some ways I can humble myself with more gratitude? |
