The key point to understand is that some issues are better tackled by the community as a whole, rather than by individuals.

Roads, fire depts, health care, military. Otherwise you open those essential services up to high amounts of bribery and profit taking. A military full of for profit mercenaries does not make for a stable country.

No, you just don't get it. They were offline the whole time. That's the only reason the timestamps show just 5 minutes between the first trophy and the platinum. They totally, seriously, for real, earned them all legitimately.

I have seen trophies awards on a new account that uses the save files from another account.

It looks like all their achievos came at once, but it's a legit save file.
