His remains had already been dug up, put in a body bag and placed in the back of a Chevy Suburban.
The transfer of Dexter Wades remains didnt occur at the paupers field but up the road, beside the penal farms horse stable, where observers had to step past manure.
The burial will be next week.

It just gets worse and worse at each step. I hope that family sues everyone involved and again, if they can get any kind of charge for desecrating a corpse, I hope it happens.

Clinton tried downsizing government ~ 1994 ("Reinventing Government") as a concession to the Gingrich crowd. It was such a disaster, the plan was scrapped by mutal agreement after a few months. Shit didn't get done and revenues (fees) were not collected in a timely manner, or at all.

"Nobody ever knew the government does so much", Trump would probably say. Staffing the government like a Dollar Tree is apparently what Ramaswamy's shooting for, I guess.

About the only thing that survived from Reinventing Government was the "Paperwork Reduction Act", fwiw.

https://www.wlbt.com/2023/11/14/where-is-it-gonna-stop-mother-denied-chance-see-dexter-wades-body-exhumed/

RAYMOND, Miss. (WLBT) - Hours after a national civil rights attorney called out Hinds County for exhuming Dexter Wade before his mother arrived on the scene, a county official says a miscommunication is to blame.

I saw a little bit with the family being distraught, and we surely apologize for that, said County Administrator Kenny Wayne Jones. But like I said, miscommunication. Time was wrong. Everything is where its supposed to be now. And thats all we know.

On Monday, the county exhumed the body of Dexter Wade, a 37-year-old Jackson man who was run over by an off-duty Jackson police officer back in March.

Wade was buried at the countys paupers graveyard in July, after city and county officials said they were unable to contact his mother, Bettersten.

Bettersten, whose story has garnered national attention, was supposed to be on hand as her sons body was removed from plot No. 672 around 11:30 a.m. on Monday.

Instead, Dexters body was removed hours earlier, with no family members present.

Yall keep telling me yall didnt do it [intentionally], that this wasnt intended for me. But how? If this was your child, what would yall think? How would yall feel, she said. Its just a misunderstanding. Its miscommunication. Is this how the system works?

Where is the cover-up gonna stop? she asked. Where is it gonna stop?

Documents obtained by WLBT show that the board of supervisors voted to exhume Wades remains at its November 6 board meeting. According to a letter from Board Attorney Tony Gaylor, the exhumation would take place at 11:30, and the body would be turned over to Bettersten, her attorneys, and the funeral home.

Bettersten and her attorneys question whether the countys decision was an effort to cover up because Wade had not been buried in a coffin and had not been embalmed.

All remains at the paupers burial ground are put in a body bag and wooden box before theyre interred. No body is embalmed.

The remains were dug up by the countys Public Works Department. Hinds County detainees assisted in the effort.

The miscommunication represents yet another blow for Bettersten, who spent months looking for her only son, finally learning in late August that he had been killed by an off-duty JPD officer on March 5.

Details of the accident show Wade came to a gruesome end, with the responding officer saying one of Wades legs was severed in the accident.

The father of two was pronounced dead on the scene by American Medical Response. The Hinds County coroner was notified, and Wades body was released to the coroner.

The officer who hit Wade was driving a patrol vehicle at the time of the incident. That vehicle was towed to the citys impound lot.

Wade was found with a bottle of prescription drugs at the time of his death. The coroners office confirmed the bottle was his and was able to get a contact for next of kin through the Hinds County Behavioral Health Center. By March 9, that information had been turned over to JPDs Accident Investigation Division.

Bettersten filed a missing persons report on March 14. She told police at the time that she and Dexter had an argument before he left the house around 6:30 p.m.

Yall covered it up. Yall did that. Kept telling me, No, no, no. We dont know where he at, she said. Then, come to find out, in yalls department, somebody hit him. Now, I ask, Can I exhume my child... I couldnt even see him come out [of] the ground.

Bettersten was joined by attorneys Ben Crump, Dennis Sweet, family, and friends for a short prayer vigil, which was supposed to be held before her sons body was removed.

Thats why we need an investigation. Who gave the order to public works? Everybody keeps trying to wash the blood off their hands, like Pontius Pilate, Crump said. Well, the blood is on your hands.

An independent medical examination is going to be conducted by Dr. Frank Peretti, a forensic pathologist in Little Rock. It will be paid for by Campaign Zero, a national social justice organization headquartered in Washington, D.C.

Rev. Al Sharpton and the National Action Network are expected to pay for Wades funeral. The funeral is expected to be held on November 20.

Tl;dr: Off duty cop hit her son and killed him. Cops knew who he was, never contacted his family for months and buried him in a "pauper's graveyard". After a national outcry, the county agrees to exhume the body and give it to his mother. They exhumed the body before she could get there.

https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/donald-trump/fox-news-reporter-jason-donner-sues-saying-fired-lies-2020-election-rcna125016

A former Fox News Capitol Hill reporter and producer has sued the network, claiming he was fired for challenging its on-air lies about the 2020 election.

Jason Donner alleges in the lawsuit that Fox News knew President Donald Trump's claims that voter fraud was behind his 2020 loss were false but that following backlash from Trump and the network's audience over its Election Day announcement that President Joe Biden had won Arizona, it "purged" journalists who spoke out against false election fraud claims.

"To win back viewership and pledge its loyalty to President Trump, Foxs corporate leadership purged the news division and those reporters who spoke out against claims of election fraud," says the suit, filed in Washington, D.C., Superior Court.

The wrongful termination and discrimination claim seeks undisclosed damages and expenses, as well as a judgment that would prohibit Fox News from discriminating or retaliating against Donner or other current or former Fox News employees. Though it was filed Sept. 27, the lawsuit did not come to light until Monday in a report by the Daily Beast.

Mr. Donners lawsuit speaks for itself, and we have no further comment beyond that, plaintiffs lawyer Brendan J. Klaproth said by email.

Neither a Fox News spokesperson nor lawyers for the network responded to requests for comment.

The suit claims the network immediately capitulated to Trump after he denounced it. Post-election layoffs included the reporter who made the announcement on the air, Chris Stirewalt, and about 20 other journalists, the suit says.

The filing cites text messages between Lachlan Murdoch, a co-chair of Fox News' parent company, News Corp., and the network's CEO, Suzanne Scott, in which Scott is quoted as saying the network's Arizona call "was damaging but we will highlight our stars and plant flags letting the viewers know we hear them and respect them.

A News Corp. spokesperson did not immediately respond to an inquiry seeking comment from Murdoch or his representatives at the company.

According to the suit, Donner was reprimanded and prohibited from expressing "opinions" when, on Nov. 19, 2020, he posted on Twitter (now known as X) that Trump lawyer Rudy Giuliani claimed voter fraud in Philadelphia but told a Pennsylvania court, "This is not a fraud case."

Fox News became a "toxic environment" for journalists with allegiance to the truth, the suit says, and the toxicity reached a peak on Jan. 6, 2021, when Trump supporters stormed the Capitol in an attempt to thwart the counting of the electoral votes certifying Biden's victory.

Donner was working in the Senate's Radio and Television Correspondents Gallery when the Capitol was breached, the claim says. As the Capitol began to be "attacked," he said, he sought refuge inside the Fox News booth as the network reported that the rioters were "peaceful," according to the suit.

Later, as violence continued, including gunshots, a Fox News reporter said of rioters on the air, according to the claim, "When you hear their voices, you can understand why they were severely disappointed."

Donner called the Fox News control room, according to the filing, and said, "I dont want to hear any of this fucking shit on our air ever again because youre gonna get us all killed."

Despite increased scrutiny from Fox News executives, according to the suit, Donner was defiantly pro-fact, pushing back when executives directed reporters to cover stories based on pro-Trump opinion pieces published by newspapers and conservative websites, the filing says.

When prime time host Tucker Carlson prepared to air a special, "Patriot Purge," that claimed the Jan. 6 incursion was orchestrated by Trump opponents, Donner worked on a piece debunking the conspiracy theory and other false claims in the special, the suit says.

"Patriot Purge was released despite the fact that Fox News knew it contained false information," the suit says.

By spring 2022, Donner was in the crosshairs of managers, including his new supervisor, who "demanded" that he and colleagues "inaccurately report on the election and former President Trump."

Donner went on medical leave shortly thereafter, according to the lawsuit. The filing further says that after he returned, he filed a written complaint to his supervisor and the network's human resources department, taking issue with coverage that included false claims about the Capitol insurrection, as well as criticisms that he was reporting on topics "the network does not care about," such as Supreme Court nominee Ketanji Brown Jackson's confirmation process.

That resulted in an over two-hour-long Zoom meeting with HR in which Donner complained about the "false reporting" by Carlson, who has since left the network, and the "toxic environment" it bred there, the suit claims.

- The murderer hired laborers to dump the bags of body parts for him.
- They discovered the contents and refused to do the job.
- They went to report it to the police and were sent away by two different police stations.

Unfortunately not uncommon with L.A. law enforcement. It's almost as if the crime doesn't appear worthy of a TV miniseries, they don't care.

https://www.cnbc.com/2023/11/13/former-uk-prime-minister-david-cameron-made-foreign-minister-in-surprise-political-comeback.html

Former U.K. Prime Minister David Cameron was appointed foreign secretary Monday in a sweeping reshuffle of current Prime Minister Rishi Sunaks cabinet.

Downing Street confirmed the appointment after Cameron was seen walking into No. 10 the official residence and office of the British prime minister to meet with Sunak following the abrupt sacking of Suella Braverman as interior minister.

James Cleverly, who formerly served as foreign secretary, was appointed Bravermans successor.

The reshuffle comes as Sunak attempts to reassert his authority, with his ruling Conservative Party trailing opposition Labour in opinion polls ahead of a general election due before January 2025.

Cameron served as prime minister from 2010 to 2016 and presided over Britains controversial Brexit vote, which ultimately led to his resignation.

Only current MPs or members of the House of Lords can become government ministers. Cameron quit as a Member of Parliament in 2016, but King Charles III on Monday confirmed him as a life peer, making him a lord and so enabling him to assume the role of foreign secretary.

During his tenure as leader, Cameron was viewed as fervently pro-China. It is as yet unclear how his foreign policy agenda will adapt against a backdrop of increased Sino skepticism among Western nations and ongoing conflict in Ukraine and the Middle East.

We are facing a daunting set of international challenges, including the war in Ukraine and the crisis in the Middle East, Cameron said in a statement.

At this time of profound global change, it has rarely been more important for this country to stand by our allies, strengthen our partnerships and make sure our voice is heard.
