Nope, just didn't think I had the justification for beating the light when it was turning red before I actually made it to the line. I didn't even know anyone was behind me as I approached the light, which is probably why I got so frustrated at myself (not being observant of my surroundings while driving). I only figured out something had gone wrong when this red SUV rolled up next to me on the grass.

Also part of the reason I may have flipped out is I did something very similar not too long ago myself and that was totally my fault. I was too caught up looking at an area I had never been to before and didn't realize the line of cars in the turn lane was longer than I had guessed, causing me to roll up on the car in front of me much faster than I should have and having to brake hard and swerve into the median.

I think because you're being recognized not for who you are but what you are (i.e. your reason for being in there is why you're being noticed not so much "hey, it's that guy, let's go talk to him"). Having that element that no one knows you they just know what you're there for gives it an unsettling and awkward detachment, at least for me.

Wasn't expecting it, it's an "Equitable Salary Adjustment" (basically a cost of living adjustment).

Though I still want to move up (apparently I was hired as a middle tier admin and there is one title higher in my department, which almost everyone possesses except one other admin who brought the issue to me originally) so I'm still exploring ways to get more money, admittedly.

But still, I never made this much in my career (it's not by muchespecially counting inflation since I held that job in 2018but still the highest salary yet).

It never hurts to probe the matter regardless. Maybe your reason for being depressed is legitimate but taken to a level that can make it unbearable could be the result of untreated clinical depression manifested.
