There were some funny moments but overall it was just a really goofy comedy. I think maybe because they were trying hard to capture the goofiness of sitcoms. I'm on a rewatch of HIMYM and even the original show wasn't as goofy as HIMYF is Smashingpmkns posted... For anyone that cares tho apparently the planned father in HIMYF (from a disgruntled ex-writer) was Damn for real? They were really trying to throw a swerve from the first episode. depends on what you want to do. If youre just gonna play tourist, any time works. Most people just go around Tokyo, Osaka, Kyoto. Stuff is always there.
