Had no idea the finale wasn't even produced? I've watched through the whole series + OVAs and I don't remember there being a finale missing, super interested in hearing more about this now

Its insane how many fathers are thrown under the bus when women commit heinous acts.

It just so happens that many of the fathers are deceased and cant defend themselves.

At least in this case, I think Casey's Dad is still alive, but declined to participate in the doc. I could be remembering that wrong though.

I remember during the documentary thinking that it was of course in the realm of possibility that she was abused as a kid, but that she was literally telling the audience "I lie about everything because of abuse", and I wondered then why should anyone believe what you are saying right now? You're literally telling us you lie about everything

Yeah, i play occasionally irl (Pre-Release events mostly) and online every day. I've had cards since Base Set. The new set will prolly be valuable. Original 151 are popular (looking at you Charizard) and it's a special set and those end up usually rarer/limited ways to get the cards.

I'm really tempted to just buy a shit ton of boxes of booster packs and just holding onto them (and also maybe breaking into some for my own collection)

I watched this documentary, and IIRC, the major angle that she went with to excuse herself for the lying was that her father sexually abused her multiple times as a child, her Mother did not stand up for her, and it put her in a position to lie about everything in her life to present a happy facade rather than expose how she was tortured due to the abuse. This bled into her everyday life going forward, including "pretending everything was ok" when her child went missing, lying to the cops, etc.

The documentary presented some claims about some shadiness with her Dad around the time her child went missing, and I don't remember if they outright said he was involved in what happened, but it was definitely heavily implied.

I want to re-collect some of the original Pokemon cards I used to have, but in doing some research I saw that there is a new Scarlet & Violet 151 set that is coming out next month that will have new designs for the original 151.

Anyone know if these are going to be valuable? Thinking about buying a bunch and holding on to them for a while and letting the value increase if possible

I've been to a couple of comic cons where the illustrator is there and has prints of various covers he's designed and you can have him sign them.

Never bought one but thought that was pretty cool

Or heavily taken the concept for a new movie (that I know of). With how remake-heavy Hollwood seems to be, this seems like it would be easy pickins.
