Irrelevant. He generated publicity with his BotW score, is chiming in negatively on another BotW related event. So one can expect him to paint TotK in a negative light in comparison to other media outlets again to generate more publicity. I also expect another event to help paint Nintendo fanboys in a poor manner in effort to generate more publicity despite him falling off in relevance over the past years.

Secondly, Kotaku put themselves in that situation. They complained about Nintendo blacklisting them, wouldn't let it go embarrassed themselves further on that topic. For Jim to go make a video saying they are within their rights to say whatever they want, that misses the point of the situation. Kotaku wants the same privileges other media outlets have in being able to play and review TotK before release. If they didn't care about this, they would have not complained and would have quietly bought it for launch day like the rest of us. Or if they wanted to make sure the bridge was forever burnt, they could have found a way to play the game to release their review in parity with the other outlets.

And any rational man who sees X reviewer rate the game much lower than his peers, already make a statement putting the company of said title in a poor light, will easily predict said reviewer is not to change his mind on the sequel.

If that reviewer then made a video defending an outlet for something almost everyone was chastising I'd expect a 6 too.

Nobody said that. People said Kotaku was spiteful and arrogant and rightfully blacklisted for their behaviour. Jim was the one that used the term ruined. You're not very good at this.

Nah Kotaku are the ones who are butthurt given the shitfit they threw over not getting review copies because they're justifiably blacklisted. Said shitfit included blatant anti-Japanese racism.

And Nintendo is also fully entitled to blacklist Kotaku for doing so, as has other studios like Bethesda and Ubisoft. It should be obvious that someone who was one of the few that rated the previous game low while making a recent video showing disdain towards the game would likely be biased against the new game as well.

He's the bottom 5 rater for BoTW giving it a 7 and he made a video supporting Kotaku saying "Kotaku SHOULD ruin Totk" a few days ago.
