Even in the US, you dont have the legal right to shoot someone for trespassing in your yard. They have to be physically in your home.

And JFC at anyone saying this is justified. Nobody deserves to die for even intentionally walking into your yard, let alone if its an elderly person with cognitive issues. Or imagine if it was a child who couldnt read warning signs.

I need the exact words in what he means with "friends".
Most likely he means (best) friends, not just a girl acquaintances.
In that matter, I think many guys actually did too.
I wouldnt say best friends and just acquaintances are the only two dichotomous relationship types.

I also imagine the translation for best friend and true/actual friend (which seems to be the meaning IMO from the information given) are distinct enough to avoid getting lost.

HairyQueen
09/28/23 10:13:38 PM

I really think they should, in fact I've had a great idea for some general story updates they should make for a modern audience.

FF6 Spoilers probably!

The game starts out as it does in the OG, more or less. However, when Locke meets Terra, he notices something. She seems to already know who he is, like they've met before. He dismisses it and they go on their adventure to Figaro.

On the way to Figaro, Locke starts experiencing visions of Kefka, but he doesn't know who Kefka is yet (that's important). This "Dream Kefka" delivers cryptic messages about a future of "ruin" and taunts Locke saying that he's going to "fail". Of course he doesn't know what to make of it so the story continues.

Later, when the gang meets the real Kefka in Figaro, Locke recognizes him now and tries to confront him about the dream he had. Suddenly some unknown entities appear called "Echoes" and they drag Locke and co. away, prompting Kefka to freak out and start burning the castle down as usual. The story continues as normal and Locke, Terra and Edgar are riding on their Chocobos away from the sinking castle. They stop and discuss the events that have occurred because something eerie is "clearly" going on.

That's all I wanna say about my ideas so far but I really hope something like this gets implemented in a potential FF6 Remake because it will keep us guessing. It would be really fresh :)

But if you can just post a picture of the same word and that's fine, it seems silly

This is true. However judicial matters outside of major ones, rarely have a direct affect on the standard citizen.

Obviously something like Roe being overturned did, but the amount of small cases they cover literally doesn't even make the news. It's when they remove big shit like AA or the like.

What I'm getting at, is it's hard to tell a non voter, or a sometimes voter, to only care about the judiciary when a majority have absolutely no clue what they do, because they don't see that actual consequences of their decisions 99% of the time.
I would never tell someone to only care about judicial appointments.

If youre feeling unenthusiastic about voting for whatever reason, just remember that a democratic presidency would have prevented the current SCOTUS makeup and many other conservative judges from being seated.

The Republican strategy has shifted long ago from trying to appeal to voters, its about installing their own right-wing ideological allies and legislating from the bench.

Vote Blue yall.
