That's insane the hospitals around here have only ever done notifications in person. Each time(and we've lost so many in the past decade, so I can tell ya) they asked us to come in because the condition has changed. I always know that means they're deceased, but they still wait until you're there to say it

I just ordered a new PC yesterday. I'm upset it is coming Friday and already not here today. I'm not really tech savvy so I spent a lot of time reading on the different pieces of hardware to understand if they were decent or not and it seems to be a good rig. It'll be my first big PC purchase that was over a grand.

I'm probably not going to be even remotely competitive, as I'm not good at video games. I'll mostly be playing with my brother. I've always lacked dexterity and skill. Coupled with the pain and lack of concentration, I certainly haven't gotten better with age. It will just be a couple of 40 year olds playing around in our spare time.

The next game I'll pick up will probably be Elden Ring though. I wanted that, but my brother has been asking about Street Fighter for a while now so I figured I'd get something we could both play, even though he'd probably just watch me play Elden Ring all the same. Like he watched me play Dark Souls 1-3.

That's what I was telling a lady at the store. She was commenting that the caramel gets hard. But I told her you can just sit them on the counter for a spell and they defrost in no time flat.
