| Liu_Kano 06/20/23 12:32:15 PM #1 | 4 > 2 >3 >1 4 = is 2 on steroids, proof that Max can stand up to other modern action films like John Wick and The Raid, and Furiosa is a cool enough character to warrant her own spinoff. 10/10 2= the golden epic classic that inspired Fallout, cheesy and dated in the best possible way, made with soul and creativity. 9.5/10 3= the weird experimental one, i actually like it. its fun watching Max interact with a post-apocalyptic city and its overlord, then save a bunch of kids. its like one of the weirder Fallout 3 quests in movie form. 8/10 1 = I wish i liked this more than I do. I admire the fact that its probably the lowest-budget action film to ever be considered an all-time classic, but man, watching this after 2 and 4 left me disappointed. This is a much simpler and smaller-scale movie, and Max doesn't really become MAD Max until the end, so its best thought of as an origin story prequel. I do like Goose and I wish he returned in later films. But yeah, this is a very barebones film despite how innovative and groundbreaking it must've been for the time. The disappearance you need to watch out for is the orc lady in Balmora Mages Guild. To be fair, Cincinnati Zoo has possibly the best zoo in the country. San Diego Zoo can suck Cincinnati Zoo's nuts.
