I also recommend Keystone Kapers. This is probably going to sound weird, but in the 2600 era Activision stuff was fire. Get any Activision games you can nab, they probably play better and have better graphics.

It's about damn, time, I have an old 2600 and it's feelin its age. The flashbacks are nice but I can't use my carts. I really want a coleco one too

Let's face it, all Goku's head injury really did is change his instinctual Saiyan desire to murder the fuck out of people into a general obsession with fighting strong opponents. When they were young and training together and Krillin could almost but not quite stand up to him still, this made him Goku's best buddy. At this point though, the only one who keeps catching up to him is Vegeta, even if he's usually a bit weaker, so obviously he's all over the guy.

The site should focus on rehabilitation of its problematic users instead of just punishing them.

Find out what the issue is and work towards helping them change their ways instead of just suspending them and waddling off to the next one.

Ask them if their mental health is ok. Reach out to them like a human and make them comfortable.

This isn't a prison or a country or a therapist.

That is a lot of weird responsibility to put on a video game message board.

How does putting one account into time out instead of banning it make substantial difference in regards to those extremely ambitious goals anyway?

It is kind of unusual to see accounts with around 50 karma getting put into purgatory multiple times rather than being banned.

How well it does in Japan as well. There's been several anime adaptations, but many of them have had midling popularity there (Cowboy Bebop is mostly forgotten and more highly regarded in the US, for example).

But One Piece is an absolute monster.

Admit I hadn't thought of that.

tbh I expect this to be a lot better than the other Netflix adaptations, but I also think it's going to take enough shortcuts and change things that anyone really really dead set on a complete parallel adaptation is not going to be feeling it.

Here's hoping you're right and international success gives it more legs, though I still consider it a small miracle if it gets renewed.

Its gonna be one of the most expensive shows ever. Hopefully it passes 3 seasons.

We will be lucky if it gets two even if it's decent, Netflix is notorious for cancelling things fast.

The whole incident is messed up. Even if she said "She looks like a lesbian" when she meant "My aunt who is a lesbian" but the cop couldn't have known that and thought she was being rude, you would think some common decency to have sympathy for an autistic teen who didn't mean any harm would outweigh the law.

Makes it feel like the cop particularly HATED being called that, even not seriously.

At least we can all agree that regardless of what he looks like, it's a good thing Bulma invented the dragon radar. Otherwise they all would have been dead by now, she's basically the most helpful person on the team.

I think I look a lot better as a woman than I ever did as a guy, but I'm sure some of that is just my gender dysphoria messing with who I see in the mirror. But I feel pretty for the first time in my life, and boy does that feel amazing.

I think with due time and a good posting history TC will be more accepted here. They are generally a nice poster. I just think its silly how accepting people are after everything. Like the only reason why they came out like this was because of the backlash and they feel too much of a connection here to let it go. They went from closing their account to now making a confession topic spamming photos of themselves in most of their responses. If anything its a cry for help.

I'm not going to say that admitting being transgender in the USA is currently as bad as admitting to being Jewish in Nazi Germany was, but there are enough people that want it to be that just saying "I'm a woman" and not "I'm a trans woman" online is completely understandable.

Nobody should have to open themselves up to that kind of hate to post online.

That is a good way of putting it. The New Kama Land people are easier to take as they actually aren't that much different from a lot of the lovable weirdoes they've met and both Bon Clay and Ivan own it and are mostly portrayed as heroic or likable and engaging.

But the Kamabaka stuff where they are like "check out all the five o'clock shadows and really ugly faces on these people" bit is really hard to take especially since the anime extends the cover story so much as to be painful

Sanji at his lowest ebb.. and the series as well since Oda found "Kamabaka island" funny, a name that basically means "dumb gay people" ouch

I realize their idea of "okama" is not something I fully get.. but it looks really offensive here in America...

It's all best forgotten..

Sounds like an excellent opportunity to stop talking about it. You were right; Bounding sucks. But taking a victory lap this long is not necessary, you're going to alienate people who were on your side by getting this worked up. I don't like seeing people jumping all over you on CE when you don't deserve it, but if you take one thing away from my request here; it's important to be gracious in victory sometimes too. People will be on your side more if you just let things lie after you get vindicated.
