You can get a very nice Seiko Prospex for less than the price you mentioned. If you feel you must spend a lot of money, there's always Grand Seiko.Yup, came in to recommend Seiko too. They have some nice watches in that price range. Currently wearing a SARA015 (SJE073) and it's almost on the level of Grand Seiko regarding it's finishing and dial.
