Sure, it's the retail workers who are the problem, and not the megamilionaires and billionaires who have been hording wealth for decades Once upon a time, a home and a new car were well within someone's means if they held a steady job, even on a meager income. Not so much any more. Now, one needs to earn 3-4x minimum wage, or work multiple jobs to earn as much, to even consider buying just a home, let alone a new car with it. Meanwhile, there are people on this earth rich enough to fund a fucking space program for shits and giggles. If you think the problem is that the layperson needs to find a better job, you're sorely mistaken. Especially when you consider that for many to "improve" themselves, they have to take on an absurd amount of educational debt. The American Dream is fundamentally broken. I did that with Death Stranding and I love Death Stranding but the thought of replaying those opening hours in DS makes my boner soft. With that in mind, I can totally see why the game would net a 7 or 8

But that doesn't change the stone cold fact those games were and are chock full of bugs and glitches, and had messy launches that saw a lot of fans feeling frustration and disappointment I love Skyrim and Fallout, but holy shit are they buggy. People freak out when you criticize their favorite game like the game is the pinnacle of perfection. Even my most favorite games have issues and flaws, and aside from that I can recognize that just because I happen to enjoy a game doesn't mean everyone will. And I'm okay with that. Lighten the fuck up lmao I'm sure Starfield is gonna be great and sell a bazillion copies but given Bethesda's track record I would hesitate to buy it at launch.
