Well the region has been divided and conquered so many times, debating whose claim is most valid is a losing proposition.

It's not about who's claim is valid; it's about those statements being a thinly veiled dogwhistle for supporting Israel's (as in the current government and military) atrocities.

Recently finished Pizza Tower, loved it.

Some that I looked at:

• Guacamelee 2. I loved the first one, but this one just straight up wouldn't boot. Apparently it doesn't like handhelds.
• Noita. Interesting concept, but it's more a "might play an occasional run once in a while" type game than one I'd play heaps.
• Kaze and the Wild Masks. Liked it at first, until I tried that fake difficulty overload level unlocked by getting 6 bonus crystals. Hate that kind of shit. For those unfamiliar, the actual terrain of the level is invisible, you can only see yourself / enemies / a few decorations, so have to resort to trial and error + memory to know where you can land vs where's a bottomless pit.
• PsiloCybil. Haven't tried this one yet. A bit wary of early access games, but I'm gonna keep an eye on it.
• Kao the Kangaroo. Heard a lot of good about this one, didn't try it yet.

Only because I loaded the prompt with a ton of details about what he looks like. The below pics are what you get if you arent ultra specific. And the one one I previously posted was the only decent one I got. It really has a hard time understanding Black hair on the top of his head, gray hair on the sides of his head.

I mostly just meant that the lack of perfection on the hair didn't stop it being clear who it was.

Default for both. I'd use the dark equivalent if the text editor wasn't buggy (in particular with spoiler tags) while using it tho. Maybe that's fixed now, idk, haven't tried in ages.

I thought it was common knowledge Hamas had their HQ or one of their main hideouts under that hospital. Using civilans as shields is their main tactic, it always has.

And yet the patients, international charities, etc sheltering in the hospital are saying otherwise. Almost as if it's a lie Israel make up to justify attacking civilian targets.

Not sure. I've never had to give them as a suspect; I did have to once as a "negative match" (ie: a situation where my fingerprints were expected to be on something they were investigating, so they needed mine to know which ones to ignore) and while officially they were deleted afterwards, who knows if that really happened.

I don't really care that much tho. Only illegal thing I do these days is cannabis, and I'm much more likely to get spotted using it than caught from my fingerprints being on something. If the cops even give a shit in the first place, which around here they pretty openly don't care as long as you don't do it in front of them.

I mean, obviously most people are gonna want it if they get paid the same, or if cost of living comes down enough that they can keep the same standards on the lower pay.

As someone who's actually been doing that (as the secondary earner in the house) for a while, I love it. Even more so for having a 2 on 1 off 2 on 2 off schedule, rather than 4 on 3 off. But without either significant hourly rate increases or huge decreases in cost of living it wouldn't be feasible for many people.

Yeah, you probably need to download a bunch of Loras and models in order to get close to what DALL-E 3 offers. Plus, DALL-E 3 has much better prompt comprehension than any of the open-source models do.

Tried running the same through SD1.5 too. Same settings and prompt (including negative). Results are still no Dall-E but a lot better.

You do need to log in to use Dall-E, but it just uses a Microsoft account which you almost certianly already have. It's an official Microsoft product, it's safe.

SD = Stable Diffusion. It's an entirely different AI image generation engine that we were discussing. If you want to run it on your own PC (rather than using a website) you need to set up Python to run it. SD is open source so running it offline is an option; and doing so also lets you use different sets of training data as well as completely uncensored input / output (other than the limitations of the data it was trained on, but again, custom training is also an option).

If you just wanna make some funny images and get hit with Bing's dog, you don't need to know any of what we're talking about, except maybe the general concept of adding more detail to prompts if you want more specific results.

I need to try to get SD working again. Last time I tried the second I tried to actually generate something my computer just crashed immediately and SD just would not launch anymore.

Need to wipe all traces of it and python from my computer and just start from the beginning.

I had to run it with the --lowvram option. Med should theoretically work for me but doesn't in practice; it'll start but will always crash part way through.

Hm, wonder how well that prompt would work on Stable Diffusion. Seems more like a prompt made for that than Dall-E. I wanna get better at writing SD prompts due to the option for custom models and dog-free offline usage.

EDIT: Let's find out. Just fired it up, running your base prompt through SD2.1 on 25 cycles with a generic negative prompt. Might take a while as I'm running it on a Radeon 680M.

Very likely not exactly zero; you always get a few nutters popping into these things.

However, I'd wager that the number of pro-Palestine protestors who do support Hamas is a similar proportion as the number of pro-Israel protestors who do not support the IDF, so it's more than a tad hypocritical for anyone supporting Israel to be complaining about the few bad eggs among the pro-Palestine crowd.

Not to mention bulbs are a lot more efficient than 20-30 yrs ago.

Also devices tend to draw a lot more power now when charging, BUT that's more to charge quicker than because they need more power, so they wouldn't use it for as long.

I think the most power-hungry device charging I'd be doing is my Ayaneo 2, which charges at 60W and takes about 2hrs from near-empty to full. My lightbulbs are all around the 7W mark, and there's 8 of them in the house but usually only 4 at most on at a time. But they'd be on for longer than my PC is charging too.

Now with all that being said, I'm on a 100% off-grid, solar setup and have enough capacity that it basically never runs out unless there's a few days of bad weather in a row, so I don't really have to worry too much about any of this.

In most jurisdictions that would be fine, but always check your local laws and regulations.

There was a case where I called an ambo and they basically said "nah you're fine" and left, only for me to have to call another one and get admitted to hospital the next day. I refused to pay the bill for the first call but didn't take it beyond that.

Yes, because WAV files are huge. But 700 MB still gives you a lot more space to play with than 64 MB does, so any instance in which the 64 MB storage ended up with better audio than the 700 MB one means someone fucked up hard.

Was N64's audio hardware better? (Genuine question.) That could account for it; even infinite storage won't do much if the hardware outputting the sound is inferior.

Kinda like how a natively 1080p image displayed on a 1080p monitor will look better than a natively 8K image displayed on a 480p monitor.

My olds had an obsession with buying fancy stuff instead of just normal things so I was forced to use various electric razors for like the first 3 years of having to shave (at least once they got over their obsession with waxing). When I got a part time job I bought myself a normal handheld razor and have never looked back; switched brand a few times but never went back to electric.

If I haven't shaved for a while I might use hair clippers to get rid of the bulk but I'll always use a normal razor to finish it off / if it's only a few days growth.
