Wendy's spicy chicken sandwich is one of my go-to's tbh. It's very to the point and not overdone which I appreciate, a spicy chicken sandwich that does too much can turn me off from wanting it more than like, once in a blue moon.

I don't think it's been every single day after a round ends but today with Ulti specifically switching to her because "she deserves it" would reignite some musings over it. Personally I just thought he was only invested in Sephiroth and then cared more about Laguna/Squall after that so I was surprised.

My favorite Jojo OP. Well actually, the final version of this OP is my favorite and should have been the one nominated but there's also more spoilers in it so eh. Anyway, fuckin love this song and OP. Does such a good job of recapping the events up to now and then establishing new stuff. AND THEN when you watch the show until the end knowing the OP....so many touches, so good. Especially love the moment when Giorno is kneeling in the smoke and the music ramps up to this epic conclusion. ETERNAL BLAZE is cute, I like the moment the two characters are first going through their magical girl transformation, the music hits a nice sweet spot there.

I was going into this match ready to be one of the only people to vote What's Up People as I love the song and the band so much. But fuck me, of course the thing that would get me to vote over the metal/metalcore song would be a post-hardcore song! Well, also that the MUKANJYO's OP itself is extremely well done and animated. But yea, love that a post-hardcore song gets used in a high profile anime OP, just like a metalcore song being used for a high profile anime OP in What's Up People. Some of those sweeping shots in MUKANJYO's are really stellar.

There has never been a single game that has benefitted from an encumbrance system and all games should eliminate it forever. It just decentivizes exploration. Heard this game has a particularly annoying one that I'm hoping doesn't turn me off too much.

Flip Flap Flip Flap

Well this was the match talked about the most when the bracket was revealed, and for good reason. Nothing generic about either of these OP's, it really is a shame one of them is losing in round 1. Of course I gotta give it to Mob, the amount of stuff they incorporate into the OP along with the song just being fantastic. Also extremely love the "Your Life Is Your Own" line focus, as it's one of the main themes of Mob Psycho 100 and life in general. Flyers is super fun too, love everyone dancing in it.

Memories is fine, shows the OG crew joining one by one standing next to Luffy. But I really like Flip Flap's little art panels, the art style is incredibly nice to look at. And the chorus of "Flip Flap Flip Flap" is very cute and endearing.

I mean we already don't think very highly of each other Lopen so sure, you can think that too. I'm just trying to clear a bit of the air of Ulti going around saying someone told another person to "self-delete", which is inaccurate. If Ulti wants to use this to push himself up as a "better and changed" person once again, because already he's using it to butter himself up while taking steiner to task, that's on everyone else and how they want to handle that. Do I agree with everything steiner has done in all of our history on board 8? No, just like he hasn't agreed on various things I've said and done.

Steiner has talked to XIII about it (the charon situation, none of what I've been alluding to has been about the ZeroSig stuff) but the main thing is that steiner didn't tell charon to "self-delete" or whatever, he wasn't trying to say charon should off himself but in the heat of the moment it was reported as that way. Of course you can say "oh likely story" to that and can't really stop that but that is what it is.

I will say that Ulti is misinformed about that steiner situation, although it's not my situation to really go into depth about.

I assume Shinzou wo Sasageyo will win this match, which I'm fine with because it's a good OP, but I dig the harder rock of Ks Rumba. Also the first half of the OP did not prepare me for how the second half goes and ends with a woman hanging from a tree.

Ah, the one thing that justifies Sword Art Online's existence. Love love love this song, love love love LiSA. I have multiple albums from her in my personal library, and it started with this OP and Fate/Zero's Oath Sign. The OP itself is pretty standard, but then again Sword Art Online is THE standard isekai that kicked off the isekai genre craze so it fits. Dream Island Obsessional Park is pretty wild, I do appreciate how off-putting and creepy it is. It's just going against Crossing field, so whoops.
