I like the harmless gimmicks like Larry. I don't really like these gimmicks that are just here to harass people and cause drama. Hell I even liked Duckbear because he was over the top crazy but he never seemed to actually target users or cause much drama outside of people being obsessed with Ducky in some ways.

Duckbear collected data on users over a decade ago. Once that information became public it was a matter of months before he was packing up and leaving. He's probably still here doing his weird ass antics under a different alias. Career sociopaths like him just don't stop being sociopaths.

Yea they're not for me. I've seen a lot of people put effort in training models to generate certain kinds of art so I can see how they would be considered art.

Comic books are about super heroes - something I can't at all relate to and greatly dislike.

I only watch Japanese Vtuber ASMR videos so I don't have to bother with looking at actual people (and don't understand what they're saying half of the time anyways). Keep in mind I've been listening to ASMR daily for around a decade now...

Only other Vtuber content I listen to is Karaoke and that's relegated to a few Japanese Vtubers that I've been following since they've had a few hundred subs each. And they primarily do Karaoke (and may or may not identify as Vsingers).

These people live in white suburban / rural areas and don't know any better. If I want some takeout, I almost always buy from local places. Really miss this local Dominican place that had the best pork and rice and it's not something you can find in a chain restaurant. The problem is that these suburban / rural people ONLY have chain restaurants or very bad family restaurants due to lack of competition. This is also why you see so many people talk about eating fast food, which I'd never choose to eat if there was a better option available.

I have never had Chipotle or Taco Bell.

Latest BokuYaba chapter makes me happy to have followed this manga for the past several years. When this series gets a second (and third) season, it's going to rival the RomCom greats.

I am one of those people that pretty much never reads or posts on reddit, yet my favorite category of videos to watch on Youtube are people reading and reacting to reddit posts.

I went through one of these phases. I love the concept but I think a lot of it is actually repurposed. Actually tried to track down some of the referenced threads and never found the exact replies that were read in the video.

Yes I'm posting on a dead board on a dead site that hasn't been relevant for general discussion since the early 2010s.

Reddit as a site really is too big to fail and the community is possibly one of the worst communities.
I am temporarily banned from ban evading. I don't think a random bot should be able to prevent me from talking about the Red Sox because I want to talk about a video game.
Not posting on reddit is just such a hit to my ability to socialize. There are no other places to voice your opinions anymore.

Aim to Be a Pokemon Master was excellent but it showed that they could have made a good anime and that there was so much wasted potential over the past few years. Pokemon is not about the anime or games anymore. It's about the events, the Netflix tie ins, the media crossovers (usually only Japan only, think Acadia by Bump of Chicken for SwSh), and the merchandise. Remember that the Japanese Pokemon Youtube channel has ****ing ASMR on it.

Way too late for this. I saw a video talking about this. Didn't even bother watching it. They already lost me as a fan when they sunset the 25 year long anime and have basically abandoned everything that made Pokemon for me with Legends Arceus and S&V. BDSP was sadly the last Pokemon game I will ever buy and it's incredibly soulless.

I couldn't watch the last Pokemon Presents for more than 5 minutes. They are simply targeting a different audience now (or maybe it was always that audience and I was ignorant to it) and that audience is the same "super fan" audience that everyone else is targeting. It's no longer the 90s, or 00s. or even 10s. Marketing targets the whales and the hyper consumers now and the normal people get left out.

For those who don't know - a "fan" is not simply someone who is a fan of something anymore. A "fan" is someone who is willing to pay out the pocket to go to events, interact with the community, create content and try and make a living off of your product. Fans share your brand on social media and do your marketing for free. Fans do not negatively comment on a brand. I doubt many of us here would be considered fans by companies despite many of us loving Pokemon since the brand began.

Yes because I like being that one person in the company that's a burden on payroll.

Almost everyone on my tagged list is banned now. Most of my tags indicate alts or really unhinged shit that user did. Like that guy who made literally hundreds of posts on a Sonic message board where he talked to himself (including responding to questions he made, and creating debates where he argues with himself) about Sonic.
