None until now. I bought NGE's ADV dub because I wanted to watch what many consider to be a top 10 classic series. Wanted the og English dub because I heard the Netflix dub is a little flat compared to it, and people seem to really enjoy the NGE dub more than other dubs from what I've seen. It's not really available anymore considering the Netflix dub replaced it, so I wanted to own it just so I don't have to rely on other methods.

Other anime I watched:
- Pokemon (as a kid)
- Lucky Star (as a 12 year old)
- Dragon Ball
- Dragon Ball Z
- Sola

Watched some bleach with my dad growing up but I wouldn't say I went out of my way to watch it.

Also bought EoE because I heard that's the true finale of the original run of NGE. As of now, not interested in the rebuilds, but we'll see.

Depends on your perspective, but with the idea that we are all equal, nah, it's just as bad.

But robbing a man of the law is not going to make a judge of the law feel too bad about not giving you the lighter end of the sentence for whatever crime(s) you are charged with.

Big believer in no idea belonging to anybody (aka, down with copyright), but it does make me sad to see how people pervert the original intention of Winnie the Pooh. I was hoping public domain would allow greater exploration of these characters in a way that big corporations are too afraid of doing. The truth is, parody laws already allowed this type of content and there's an entire industry built off of being edgy with kid properties (many of which I enjoy).

Physical certs are basically just for show nowadays, but they still count as ownership of a share with dividends and other shareholder rights like any other share.

Nintendo stock certs are a little harder to convert into cash than the already hard certs, but I'm not really planning on selling it anyways. I'll use online brokerage for actual investments.

The McRib is coming back November of this year.

The farewell tour made me think that maybe they would shelve it for a few years so they could have a big campaign for its long-awaited return, but this is basically just a normal wait cycle.

Honestly, a 32-hour work week with the same pay would be fair. They have been cheating us on pay for a long time now. This would at least make our hourly wages closer reflect what we should be getting paid at this point.

Been wanting to watch NGE, and plan on watching the ADV English dub (heard the Netflix dub is way too literal with translations for my liking). I heard Dragon Ball completely butchered the og english dubs in their dvd collections (supposedly the best way to watch the original non-kai dub of DBZ is if you had the original broadcast versions of the dubs) through strange dialogue rewrites as well as the fact that only some people went in to redo lines so it was a weird mis-mesh.

Basically, I'm asking if anything like that happened to the ADV dub or if re-releases of it kept the original intact fully.

Nah, this is prime time for me, I'm as awake as I'll be at this time of the night. I was just listening to some SM64 speedrunning, when I think I hear a tiny knock.

I call out "Did someone knock? I'm not gonna answer unless someone says they knock" but then I get up to open the door anyways. I start opening the door, but as I pull, it feels heavy, like someone is pulling on the other side of it. My first thought was that my sister was on the other side holding the doorknob, probably just thinking she is being funny, but she's not up at this time. It didn't feel like a sudden stop where the door was stuck, it felt like it was heavier.

I tried opening my door a few more times to see if the door felt odd, but no, it feels normal now. Don't know why it felt that way.

My door is always locked to my room. Made sure everything was locked too, and I checked everywhere.

I don't know what the hell that was. The knocking sound, that could have been in my head as that happens way too often to me where I think I'm hearing things because people knock on my door and call my name so god damn much. The door, though, I don't know why it felt like that. A door being stuck feels like the door is fighting me, but the way this felt, felt like all the times someone is holding my doorknob feels like.

We have a dog, though, so obviously if there was a stranger, this dog would have alarmed us, but nope, he's peacefully sleeping. It's driving me insane, though. Wtf was that?

Thought I heard a knock on my door. Call out to see if it's anyone. No one answers. As I open my door, I can feel the heaviness on it as I try to pull it open making me believe someone is holding the doorknob on the other side. I think it's my sister trying to be funny (even though she would never stay up this late), so I quickly close and lock the door (it was only open to a crack). When I reopen, no one is there, so I nervously walk out thinking my sister is trying to jumpscare me, but no, she's in her room sleeping as it's 2:30 am. I look around, and there's no way it was family pranking me. I'm the only degen that would be up this late.

What the hell was that then. I know what I was feeling. The door wasn't stuck...

Vetoed opening safe consumption drug sites, vetoed declaring parential denial of critical gender affirming care to children as child abuse, and now vetoing a measure that would've given workers leverage in ending these strikes on favorable terms. Any sort of controversial initiative not unanimously supported by liberal Democrats and he wusses out.

I'm not as annoyed that he's getting pushed because the DNC is all about safe picks nowadays. I'm more annoyed at how everyone online is already basically saying he's a good candidate we should just accept. It's not even close to 2028 yet, let's at least try to campaign for a true progressive before we begrudgingly accept whoever the DNC tells us we should like.

This dude probably won't be a terrible president, but I'd like to think mediocre is not the benchmark we should be striving for.

I've seen people say the OG is better after watching Faulconer first and then the OG soundtrack, but I've never seen anyone say Faulconer is better upon watching it 2nd after originally watching the OG soundtrack.
