The people voting OG likely haven't played it in yonks. Constant shittiny QTEs, long boring dull corridor sections, the dump truck section, clunky controls, having to open the menu every time you want to switch weapon, Ashley is annoying and escorting her sucks. I replayed OG RE4 in the run up to REmake and it just doesn't hold up. Game Design has moved on since 2004 and pretty graphics aren't enough anymore. Aside from the stance of "I prefer the goofy cartoon atmosphere that made no sense to the remake's more serious tone." which is fair nuff. There's really nothing the OG did better. Edit: Also the OG had a better Ada VA. The REmake improved everything. Adding a long dull ski-lift would not have improved it and Doe knows that.
