These are community boards, not official site boards like the politics board was.

I don't know why any business deal would occur that did not preserve the independence of the site. CBS and other owners didn't act like children over the mere mention of politics.

Problem is we didn't build one. Fandom purchased a site that already had a community built around politics that was well established and had existed for years. The grandfather clause really should have applied here.
