This technology seems pointless from my perspective. It still requires human workers. I feel the money and technology should be spent towards AI that replaces human workers and human executives.

The problem with the push from genuine actors who think this would improve human lives is that in reality it won't.

If corporations and the rich are unwilling to improve lives without AI, are willing to manufacture inflation to get record profit, to layoff people to give themselves bonuses..... to the genuine people out there pushing this idea based in a utopia fantasy... what makes you think AI saving the wealthy even more money is all of a sudden going to make them support easier lives for the poor or the shrinking middle class?

However in reality your interpretation and values mean absolutely nothing to Christians who have a different interpretation. Christians do not have the same interpretation of the Bible or Christianity, that's just fact. There's multiple interpretations of that book you love so much.

You can claim they're not true Christians if they dont adhere to your interpretation, and they can equally claim the same thing back that your no true Christians based on their interpreted values.

Ultimately it's a circular discussion proving absolutely nothing but digging into a no Scotsman fallacy.

Your interpretation of the Bible or Christianity is entirely irrelevant to theirs who has a different interpretation of Christianity and the Bible.

Your no true Scotsman fallacy logic doesn't actually dictate in reality if someone actually is a Christian. Christians don't actually agree on the interpretation of Christianity to begin with, which you are fully aware.

You adhering to one interpretation over another doesn't change that.

And no I won't, however you must understand that not all Christians have always been in agreement over the terrible things that those in power have done, or even that they were truly aware of what was happening.

That doesn't change if a different interpretation still classifies one's actions as Christian.

I know some religious types get defensive that their religion might not be the beacon of moral goodness they interpret it to be, especially when bringing up past uglies. However, truth be told Christianity has gone through so many interpretation it's not even funny. Interpretations that justified many evils and autrocities including misogyny, bigotry and slavery.

In short, their interpretation of Christianity assuming they genuinely believe in their interpretation and not just grifting, very much makes them Christians.

Also before the victimhood soapbox team moves in, no my post isnt saying this is exclusive to Christianity. The topic is literally about Christianity hence why I specifically called it out.

But funnily enough I didn't even go to college for IT, it was only my Minor. I just enjoy it more and the benefits of WFH

Get experience, certs. etc and can you get into 6 figures within a few years. I graduated in 2018 and make 6 figures as of now. IT sector pays well. Out of college I made 40k fresh out the door

I'll take it a step further and say you don't need a degree to get into IT. Just a cert can get you in the door.

that helps lower the cost of each one, sure, but there's still the built in price increases on the menu along with the tip. i'm cheap and don't like spending money, so if i'm already gonna splurge by going out, i dine in. eating out is also largely a social thing for me anyway, so sitting in a restaurant is part of the whole experience anyway.

i totally get why some people like it. sometimes you just want some food and don't wanna go get it, or deal with cooking. i pay for convenience, just not with food delivery.

I'd also like to add dashpass isn't free.... That's $10 a month. Which, to someone also cheap, that $10 I could have spent on another meal.

That not on top of the upcharged food, and if you are a tipper, that's even more.

No. Honestly I don't know why anyone with a means of transportation would use it so regularly.

I can buy 2 meals for all the upcharges and fees they have.

If I don't feel like getting the food myself, I just tell myself I don't need it.
