The Saturn is a tremendous console in its own right. Arguably more impressive than the Dreamcast for it's vast library of arcade ports alone... but that comes with a very large asterisk, because you can't even begin to have the conversation if you don't include Japan-only releases.
But man, the second you slap on an Action Replay 4MB cart, the Saturn becomes one HELL of a contender for greatest console ever.

And guess who just region modded their system?
I used to use the action replay, but I think it's really wearing on my slot; so, I invested in first party ram cartridges and really like snk games.

Does the dreamcast have bad/cheap plastic controller port...pieces? I have gone through quite a few controllers due to the controller ends becoming finicky.
My Saturn and it's metal pieces have been doing good for a decade plus. The only time my Saturn controllers have crapped out is due to me spilling on them or something, so all on my end.

The era helps tremendously. I love me some NFL blitz, especially 2000. I can scream at that game all day.

For myself, i play a ton on my Saturn. I wish it had some of the games dreamcast does, but I can always turn on my dreamcast for some crazy taxi or blitz fix.

NHL '95 introduced the Season mode. NHL '94 just let you do a playoff series still. You could choose b/t 7 games or single elimination. Useless knowledge but yeah I am positive I am right here. What I don't quite remember is if the playoff teams were randomized. I feel like you couldn't even choose your team so you'd just randomize the first game until you got a team you wanted to play as. There I muddled my own declarative response.

There's a season mode. The cartridge has a battery for it and everything. Unless I'm mistaken and it's just playoffs or something

If it's just based on quality, dreamcast is the greatest of all time hands down. I think it's average game score is like 85+%.

Genesis doesn't have any GOAT tier games aside from Sonic 2 and Sonic 3 + Knuckles. SNES and N64 have a killing of those. I wouldn't care if the average game on Genesis may be better than the average game on N64. If the N64 has 25+ games better than the Genesis anyway, I don't give a shit about its average game.

The n64 has a high quality, but limited and niche library. It's lacking in genres for that generation.

to use your own words though, the average game is better on genesis. You can grab a game and it'll probably be good and you'll probably get something new or different for a while.

Genesis has games like shadow run and pirates and Starfield, all to keep you busy for quite a while. It's constantly blowing me away with its computer ports, especially for its age. I love finding new games on it. Similar to the Saturn and its amazing Japanese library

N64 was great in America.
The genesis had a ton of highs, including amazing sports games and arcade ports of many genres. It was the high twitch console with the blast processor.

Firefox for Android lets you install plugins. At the moment, the list is more limited than Firefox for Windows, but Mozilla is supposed to be adding full support for all plugins before the end of the year.
