Not a joke at all. I've enjoyed this game a helluva a lot and will continue to do so for many years to come.

This is one of the greatest games I've ever played. It has everything from great quests to great game systems. The questlines are incredible. I spent most of the 70 hours between playing the Vanguard faction and main quest, a bit of exploring and a bit of random quests. The Vanguard story was really good and interesting, and you could even consider it as a main story quest if the main story quest wasn't there. However, the main story is where the grandeur and eye-popping moments happen. Bethesda went all out with this one. Every second playing the game was a joy. It has a lot of "Bethesda" moments. From the NPCs to the "dungeons". All of the places that you have to go to for the questlines are varied and interesting. I didn't explore too many planets or dinked around a lot, but I enjoyed the moments that I did dink around. What sets this from say Skyrim is that I didn't get bored or annoyed by the level design. I remember getting a bit annoyed by some of the places in Skyrim (blackreach lol). There are some incredibly beautiful planets and moons. This is Bethesda's best looking game.

There are some issues with the game. It's not a perfect game of course. UI and inventory is a bit janky, along with storage boxes. The game connects research benches with your ship's storage, but doesn't extend it to any other storage in the game (like at your home or the Lodge) so this means you have to carry your materials on your limited storage in your ship or lug it to an infinite storage box at the lodge or somewhere similar. It is a bit unoptimized on PC if you have a Nvidia card, and runs a bit crappy at times. The maps need work. No location maps when you're in a base, cave, town, etc. The star maps look good though. Exploring planets can get tedious after a while. It'd be nice if they included land vehicles or at least an auto-run.

Overall, I loved the game. I want to post this and then get back to playing! This is going to go down as one of the greatest games ever. There's also some really cool gameplay mechanics that are tied to the story, but I don't even want to mention it because it is a spoiler, so please don't mention it in this topic. This game is going to be played for years. This is the new generation of Skyrim and once they give it some more quality of life improvements and patches (along with the planned dlc), it's going to be *chef's kiss*.

If you like sci-fi stories and space games, I highly recommend it.

Nintendo should outsource it to Blizzard or Square, tbh. I would not trust Gamefreak to make a pokemon game of this caliber.

Problem is MMORPGs are notoriously hard to do when converting a single player game to that format. And while Pokmon isnt entirely a single player game this means there will be some major imbalances to gameplay.

It's not hard. Look at FFXIV. Pretty much took Final Fantasy and made it into an MMORPG, but kept a lot of what makes FF great. You can make the battling more automated. Pokemon can use generic attacks as an auto-attack. Stronger moves can be used, but will have cool-downs. Easy-peasy.

I feel like a Pokemon MMORPG would be the ultimate pokemon game. You can pick which town you want to start off in. You are not limited to a linear path that the regular games are known for. It could have a variety of quests and stories. You can battle real trainers while other trainers can watch you. You can go off on adventures with your friends. It would have all of the Pokemon. It can have all of the story beats of the anime. You could have raids like in Pokemon go but with an MMORPG twist where have to go through a dungeon to get to the legendary pokemon.

There's so many things they can do with this.

Perhaps this was our destiny. Not to help maintain a healthy, livable environment for our species (ironically for even more suffering), but to leave a legacy of death, destruction and misery. This is the human species, and it's always been this way.

I don't think it's necessarily exclusive to humans. I think it's just the natural consequence of becoming an advanced civilization. The only way to not screw up the planet is to live in harmony with nature like the natives did.

So much is going to happen between then. Humans probably will either be extinct or have colonized the galaxy. Many life ending asteroids would have collided with Earth. New animals would have evolved by then. Maybe even new intelligence on Earth. So exciting.

I wouldn't say it tastes better than cold water, but it's definitely adequate in room temperature.

That's crazy to think about. How much longer do we have?

I'm enjoying every second of this game. It's basically Skyrim in space. It's going to be played and put on everything for the next 10 years.
