Someone said it before, but it's about atmosphere. Like, OoT Forest Temple is a beloved dungeon, but in terms of gameplay, it's kind of shit. The "puzzle" in the dungeon is a block picture with four pieces.

But the dark temple in the woods, covered in vines, swarmed with spiders, wolves, ghosts... And the music and all - that's really something special.

Damn. I gave War a list of my guesses for the remaining order and La Dama was next to drop on it, but I switched to Scandal because I'm coward dog.

La Dama is great because she IS a bad bitch, and she knows it, and she knows you know it, so she doesn't put on any airs. She's strictly business - she knows what she wants and how to get it.

Saoirse was getting pulled into her web, but tried specifically to get out from it. I think there was a time there where Saoirse was getting really hesitant about making deals, and her deal with La Dama was one she didn't want to see play out. So she bought out of it. Which, it's La Dama, so that's still a thing you can do!

We just got to see her lead a city council, where she took a central role, but still couldn't quite calm down the men when they got mad about moss (that they weren't even around for pfft well Foal was but still).

Also... Traci is so far the only character to have been drafted at exactly her placement. Congrats Ermine!

Wow, Traci has been nothing but sincere with Saoirse.

I think Traci might be coming to find out that Saoirse will say no to her. Question is whether or not Traci is willing to accept that and accept different advice than the type of help Traci wants to give.

Otherwise, yeah - Traci was being held by La Dama in El Paso, and Saoirse missed all of those sessions save the first one where we found Jaime. There was a choice to be made between La Dama and La Llorona, and when time came to choose (we chose both), Saoirse said she didn't care - her one goal was to get Traci, a young girl magician on her own out of harm's way. And that's what she did.

This has expanded somewhat into Saoirse also looking after Misty and Bunny a bit, building a little coven for herself, but Traci is the first. And she managed to pierce a barrier with Saoirse, who... hopefully? Has done the same back? Hard to say.

Traci is the best tho. Witch Sisters~

Robbie has a first quest given by Josha.

Once you get the main quest to visit the four disturbances from Purah, Josha will give you the quest to hunt down Robbie in the depths.

Interesting is that someone else reopened the rift at Four Corners that Manitou Raven died to close... Then closed it back up.

My guess is Mordru. Not sure who else is out and about recently that would have such power.

Brother Eye is really fascinating. I really want to get back to his story as well - it's in a bit of a limbo due to Singapore being our next path and us having a bit of a stall on wanting to talk to Lucifer again first. But we'll do LA again soon...

I didn't do a whole lot either. It was learning the whole deal with aiming for the heads to knock him down. When he flies up at the end, he takes a big amount of fall damage when you knock him down, so for me it was mainly taking advantage of his fires to fly up then use bullettime to take down his heads with attached stuff to arrows

I have over 200 arrows but I'm always going everywhere.

Also beat my first Gleeok earlier. Flame Gleeok. 6 hearts was enough but it was tough

The campaign may belong to Darkseid, but the server belongs to Iolande.

I do like Darkseid as this force of presence - he's similar to the Spectre, in the sense that the Spectre is ever-present danger. But the Spectre is the one who pops up all the time, like Nemesis in RE3. Darkseid is the man in the high castle.

Curious though - we will see Darkseid soon, for the first time in the campaign. And it may cost up to four allies their lives, at the least.

Ughh Gateway conclusion is going to be something.

I'm a SM64 rando speedrunner but haven't been running for awhile

I need to do an Indigo mission. And blue. And red.

Indigo is interesting - theoretically allies, but there's still an element of sacrifice for them. Not sure how Saoirse stands on them yet.

Hamilton Drew is also an integral part to researching who kidnapped us all in the first place, though we have some new info on that we have yet to follow up on.

Hamilton Drew manages to be a great character who makes sense in the canon but is just different enough from the people we deal with to really stick out. He's not a superhero - he's a detective. Not just a detective - he's time displaced. And yet he's still all-in, fully onboard with us. Just a swell, great and focused guy.

One of the better allies we have for sure.

I left out a great moment -

Closing down the fight, Lush hit Light with a "this is for Sue" and Light was like "who?" So Saoirse explained who - Sue Dibny - and he was like "who cares?" And Lush ended the fight with a "we care".

It was cathartic.

Hundred is an interesting guy - I really want to read his series now, sometimes.

Highlights of session...

Kid summon was Kari Limbo, a woman with limited precognition who helped give advantage during combat turns and through other little nods in the session. She was an ex-lover of Guy Gardner.

Saoirse asking her if she had a message for Guy and her saying no - just remember her: before shielding Zatanna from a fatal blow from Doctor Light.

Coming up with fun ways to use her power ("you must control the water" turned into busting up pipes to pour over some goons and freezing the water).

Fighting the Light League: Minerva killed Hard Light Martian Man hunter by impaling him like Libra did the real one. Lush quipped with HL Batman. Minerva gunned for HL Aquaman, lifting him in the air after he called her unworthy. Nikhto tied down WW in bindings the entire time. Saoirse sent HL Kyle Rayner's middle finger construct from her nose back up his.

Summoning the Rogues, and getting to see all of them except Weather Wizard (which is always a joy). They demanded Doctor Light who will be laid outside Libra's doorstep in Keystone City. Exciting future scene incoming.

Female Doctor Light berating Lush for inviting the Rogues and ruining her vengeance, and then getting to talk her down from that - straight up "your revenge comes second. We're here to save Zatanna".

Fighting Doctor Light, which included using a spell to lower his willpower AND his Knowledge stat... Which is just an existential kick in the nuts, forcing him to suffer from lowered intelligence when that's what Zatanna stuck him that way for years. Female Doctor Light protecting Minerva during the battle. Saoirse protecting Lush at one point. Nikhto would have died if we didn't force feed him healing potions before the fight. Saoirse may have cut off his junk. Lush wrapped things up in a painful but fitting callback to encountering his memories back at Shadowcrest. Female Doctor Light melted his hands off.

Returning to ZZ to a crowd, just for Lush to dump Zatanna on the ground and walk away. Zatanna muttering after that she felt pride - she turned Lush into a real person, she claimed. Gut punch to end the session.

Oh, and we also brought back a hooker dressed as Supergirl, which has created some interesting parallels for me, who has had Saoirse dress as Supergirl in the past for similar (but not the same) purposes.

Yeah, it actually wasn't as bad as I thought once I tried a couple of more times; it's fairly easy to bait and parry/dodge if you keep the right amount of distance. I only lost one heart to gloom , and that was due to me getting sloppy/slipping up yet again. I got a really strong sword (over double the amount of power of anything I've found so far) out of it, but it says something about wearing the user down over time, so I assume it applies gloom to you if you use it. Oh well. At least it was good practice.

Yeah, the way it works is that every few attacks give you a point of gloom - if you're not fighting a gloom enemy and not underground, then it WILL ungloom during the fight.

So I'm doing some exploring after beating my first dungeon and I think I might have went into the wrong cave...

The damn hands were bad enough and took me by surprise, and Riju's avatar was being uncooperative as usual and refused to stay near me, so they killed me. I only managed to kill them the second time around after climbing up a cliff and zapping them a few times with her power. I haven't tried to fight it yet, should I go elsewhere for now? Update: I tried to be extra careful and fight it, but as usual, my fumbling of the controls led to Link eventually turning around instead of flipping and he got spanked on the behind by a sword and died in one hit. I don't know if it's just the fact that I'm using Joy-cons or what, but I still struggle with getting Link to do what I want at times.

Taking him down with only 4 hearts was tough.

Bomb arrows help with the hands.

I loved Hero's Path - used it extensively in the first game. Without it, I just use stamps to outline the parts of the map I've yet to explore. Hero's Path makes it less clearly segmented but more accurate for where I've been.

I'll have to decide if I want it or not...

We planned out the conclusion to Hub City and I guess the conclusion to Leesburg (though that one was more - bring a bunch of people).

Otherwise, we've planned places while doing them (like Korugar) but this is probably the most amount of effort put into a return to somewhere with a specific player-driven plan.

I have not even left Hyrule Field and I've encountered it in two places. One of those times was just dealing with floormasters spawning in the overworld.
