Yeah I think Sears was the first time I saw an n64 running in person. Then Toys r us had them as well even before they had the electronics area. I do remember playing a lot of Halo at Baggages. Hell a friend of mine beat it there.

Well, not like they fully stopped. We still have happy meal tous from the latest kids movies, but during the 90s they went pretty hardcore with it. Myself I had a few of these Batman glasses from MCDs and they were only 99 cents. Had a weight to them I remember.

Anyway, you rarely see this level of marketing commitment anymore. Is it cause maybe going to the movies isnt the big deal it used to be? Sure some movies keep breaking records, but overall attendance is down and adjusting for inflation theyre not doing as much money. I guess movies are not the center of entertainment they used to be back then when they didnt have to compete with videogames, cellphones, streaming apps.

Exactly. Take LoI for example. Leon goes to castle to rescue his gf. She gets cursed and cant save her. Somehow killing her enables the creation of the legendary vampire killer whip. Leon goes to kill the castles ruler. AND THIS IS A PS2 GAME.

Do you "fans" understand how LAZY and SIMPLE these stories are? There is really no thought put into them. And this is why the netflix adaptations are so good. They made a somewhat coherent story from what little meat there was in the games story bones. Add wonderful animation, music, badass characters and you have a critically acclaimed show.

Now Lords of Shadows was a real attempt at a story. Too bad part 2 wasn't as good due to meddling from Konami.

Sorry, but how does a TALK SHOW need writers? When most of it is talking to your guests. You cant script the answers? Seems absurd from an outside POV. Or do they really need writers for greetings and the stuff in between guest talk?

Funny to assume it was a licenced dr or even in the US.

If you like Kotor and Dragon Age and maybe mass effect it should be a prefect fit for you.

Also as big as the game is, it doesnt feel tiring. Its not full open world. Actually the areas ARENT THAT big and it works to its favor since it makes areas pretty dense with content and also helps with ita pacing. A lot of the play time does come from tweaking your characters and checking what works for battles. Once you have a grasp of how combat works, it becomes even better since there ARE SO MANY approaches to battles.

Same thing applies to story progression and this is where the game shines. No other game comes close to the level of freedom it gives you to approach anything.

Her background makes the show even better imo. It was well done.

As for whether or not those are also on the chopping block is uncertain. They have made mention for a while on removing all of their religious references and have been on the fence for a while. Its gimmicky. Even if they run and look well, battery would be drain quickly, you need some peripheral to properly handheld and play well.

Problem is that not even at 50/hour you can purchase a home in CA. Its a much bigger problem and the solution will have to come from government, cause I see no other way.

Get rid of all the laws that dont allow buildings to be built and the parking rules. It only serves the rich people maintain and keep high their property values.

Theres a market for that. Usually people starting out on the game and many simply like the gambling high feeling

Please don't invest in TCGs.

Especially the mystery boxes. They are worth basically nothing. The EV value for one of those is half what you bought it for.

Is not about the value of the cards, but the scarcity of the sealed product years from now what drives the price.

That said, wotc and pokemon company are making new sets not investment worthy due to so much printing. Cards can be gotten cheap now, but it also harms LGS stores
