Why do all these expensive phones have such crappy battery life? I'm running a Motorolla G Power and I don't even think about battery life. If I let it drain to zero, I can easily get 3 or 4 days out of it with moderate to light use.

The sentiment might be more prevalent online I admit, but every male is painted as a potential psycho, pedo, rapist, etc. They can't engage with kids the women can. If they're on a playground, they're automatically a suspicious character. If you're walking down a street at night, every woman has to assume you're there to murder them. You're basically a bad guy until you can prove your innocence. And all that goes double if you're unattractive.

Is this seriously all AI art? This is some incredible improvement over the last few months. The difference between these and real art is imperceptible. Art as a career is going to be dead real soon.

Mr. Beast is what every ultra-rich person should strive to be. It never even occurred to me that providing fresh water to an entire village was as simple as digging a hole in the ground. That Universal Studios game on Gamecube. It seemed like a fun idea, exploring an amusement park and the rides being turned into mini-games. But it was so so bad. I think it was the only time I ever returned a game to the store.

Probably my favorite Halloween movie right next to the Halloween Tree.

Currently going through My Dark Vanessa. It's about a girl who gets infatuated with her high school teacher which turns into a full-blown affair. It has presented at least one interesting moral dilemma. When the book fast-forwards to the future, the girl is encouraged to speak out against this teacher, along with other girls the teacher supposedly hooked up with. But the MC's relationship with him was mutual and she never saw herself as a victim. Does that still make her obligated to speak out against the teacher?

Guns alone objectively can't be the problem, just like video games aren't the problem. Millions of people own them and somehow manage not to go on shooting sprees. So seemingly, the issue is mental health, but what we really have to ask is what is causing that decline. I think part of it is the wealth disparity and how it's greater than ever. The rich are getting richer at the expense of the lower and middle classes. The financial struggles of the average person create a domino effect that spills into all other areas of their lives. If you're constantly fighting to survive, you have no time for leisure, which in turn, creates an irritable mental state. And these are people who look to politics to find a scapegoat they can blame for all their problems. It all runs a lot deeper than that, but that's pretty much the gist of it.

It's really a hard question to answer, as for me, it all depended on the teacher. I've gotten A's at least once in every subject, but sometimes ended up with a C because the teacher sucked. For instance, I always had an A or B+ in math, but when I took pre-calc my senior year, I think I ended up with a C or even a D. The teacher was fresh out of college and spent most of class discussing the latest episode of Lost and just chatting with the students. Hardly my fault if you ask me.

Just out of habit I guess. It's been like 25 years. It's also one of the few gaming communities that still have a strong appreciation for classic gaming. If you go into a Reddit thread that discusses the best games of all time, you get so much modern garbage >_>

Realistically, I'd fall into a deeper depression after learning that frivolous spending, even to the tune of millions of dollars, isn't going to buy genuine happiness. So I'd probably just donate most of it and keep enough to allow me to quit my job and retire comfortably.

It's not really a long-term solution, but you can just wear latex gloves. I handle a lot of boxes at work and my hands would get incredibly dry, even while wearing work gloves. But now I wear latex gloves underneath and haven't had any more issues.
