| Villain_S_Fiend 01/23/24 5:20:10 PM #462 | I don't know what the average size of a ragdoll is, but mine is not nearly as large as a Maine or Norwegian. She's barely as big as my short hair.
I wouldn't think the DNA test is a scam so much as it's just pointless when it comes to a lot of cats, especially strays or feral. There's likely so much going on in there that there wouldn't be any particular stand-outs. For instance, my other cat is what most people would imagine if someone said "black cat" - nothing unique to her but her personality. But with a cat like Daffodil that has striking features I'd be more curious. I thought about doing one for Winnie, but I knew her whole litter and they were a hodge-podge of coats and colors, so she's likely a big mix, and ragdoll just happened to be the genetic trait that popped out. --- The food here is terrible. No idea, she was a stray found as a kitten actually! Aww yours is so cute. I like the whole vibe of the picture with the wood, it's cozy. He or she kinda looks like a coffee haha.My girl (Winifred) was from a feral litter I fostered for a bit. She usually looks all black, but in the right light there are sections of dark copper that appear, so I can totally get the "coffee" thing. Does yours go limp when you pick her up? That's the defining ragdoll trait. They're an offshoot of the Maine coon/Norwegian breeds. --- The food here is terrible. Why do people hate on tiny homes? Regular homes are expensive to build, well over $100k for an average house.
