I've noticed that he will encounter the same issue in different games, ding some of them for having it but not others. Mario 2 was interesting.

First he said it was released late in the NES cycle in 1990. I don't know why he keeps saying 1990 is late as most NES games were released in the 90s lol. There are two puzzle games that were pushed at the end of the NES but Dr. Mario isn't one like he claims.

Then he said "If they made a sequel". It did get a sequel. A couple actually! And they did have other modes. He should know that lol

So much for the all NFL for the Super Bowl week.
How do you do 2 big hitters in one week instead, I don't know.
I just know the end of this series is going to be a grind lol

I am not done the episode yet, but yeah the order of games played should have been thought out a bit more thoroughly before this started lol

Letting people choose will just leave you with them wanting to see the great and terrible stuff first.

I sometimes try these games and I thought Kid Klown in Night Mayor World was actually kind of a decent game. Certainly not 72 spots lower then Rockin' Kats, that's for sure. (45 v 118)

I get that, just found it weird that he talked about the grandmaster tetris being the ultimate form and how people go crazy with it, the vr tetris being super cool, the multiplayer tetris having layers to the games not like single player. But didn't talk about how the game he is playing had that kind of history too.

I think he did the game that has consistently found new way of play and only has very recently been beaten/kill screened, kinda dirty. I get his angle on it though, but still seems a bit low.

Also kinda weird that he didn't talk about any of that stuff. Just said that "It's been on the news"

GANBARE NEO POKE-KUN (Switch) - Some time in the Summer

I played this for probably 20-30 hours. It was an endless grind. I was at the final form of the final boss on the final mini game of the entire game. This involves mashing a single button as fast as you can. I barely made it this far without cheating by rewinding a whole lot. I was on this boss for hours and hours. Screw this thing. I can't mash that fast.

I beat this game darn it, everything else was unlocked and. Blah.

The rest of the game had fun little mini games along side of a kinda virtual pet landscape where he really just does funny things. You gotta keep him happy to get him to 'build' new games. They unlock slowly. If he gets sad, nothing ever progresses.

If the switch version did not have rewind, I am officially declaring that this game is impossible to beat for about many different reasons. Keeping him happy is RANDOM. Things do random stuff and change his mood. Also several games are nearly impossible without rewind cheating. It's fun but kinda terrible lol. It would take 100's of hours and maybe years off your life if you were to beat it on an actual Neo Geo Pocket.

The way he was playing Festers Quest by collecting every red 'Gun' he saw (Even after being told) was absolutely infuriating me lol. It went on for so long till he stopped.

I can't in my head rationalize that.

Also, he never saw the rest of Kid Icarus. That game drastically changes into a dungeon crawler, a side scroller, and a horizontal shump. Wonder how he would rank it if he knew.

I made my goal, I beat the game. Nobody can make me think otherwise.
I am quitting now. The never-ending grind at least.
I ain't making it to whatever the next reward level is. GC2 is probably achievable but screw that. Said I would like 2 years ago "Once I make GC, I am done"

I've always thought the first level of Battletoads was amazing, the second level was still alright but no where near that first level, and then it continues to divebomb from there.

Games are slightly coming down it seems the last few months. The line on Pricecharting is dropping.

My NES collection is just under 3k now.
My N64 and SNES collections are each just under 2k.

Though for some reason Kawasaki Superbikes for the Sega Game Gear jumped to over $1200 bucks (From under 100). Like why?? lol.

Here are some fun facts about PSU over the last 2 years.

• PPG v Not Michigan // Ohio - 40.4 (19 games)
• PPG v Michigan // Ohio - 18.7 (4 games)
• The 18.75 is skewed by one game where we put up 31 last year but still lost by 13.
• Outside of Michigan or Ohio only one team held us to under 30 points, that was Northwestern last year (17). Still won by 2 scores.
• 18 of the 19 games have been won by more then 8 points. (16 over 2 TD, 13 over 3)
• The last time PSU finished a game scoring in the 20-29 point range was in 2021.

It's literally all blowouts or insufferable games lol.

Then he went and beat Ohio State the following year with a stacked offensive team (With some luck thrown in)....and I kinda then knew we would be in it for the long haul.

These days, it's either a blowout win or lose to Michigan and Ohio State. Nothing in between (Outside of the bowl game). It's comical I almost don't want to watch the games because you just know what will happen.

I bought Tropical Freeze at a mall card convention a year ago for the Wii U and played it for the first time last week.

It's a fun game!

Also, right now the most annoying one is the one where everyone sings Sweet Caroline in the Bar.

I was disappointed at first that GTAV didn't have more cities like in GTA San Andreas, but in retrospect I'd much rather have one large city than three smaller cities.

Replaying GTASA made me realize just how tiny it feels these days.
