Well I've watched the 2 episodes of Franxx that are out

It's fine, I do like 002 and Ichigo. The way they pilot is a little offputting but they kind of make it work with them being the faces of the mech and all of that.

Yea I see that I'll probably be in the minority on my mixed feelings on Devilman, but I certainly understand why it would be loved as I quite liked the ending.

Jojo part 4 is phenomenal, Yoshikage Kira is one of my favorite antagonists from like, anything pretty much.

Also (sort of spoilers, I dunno how to phrase this) I completely understand the Evangelion comparisons now, it's not directly alike obviously but I see it. And Evangelion did it better imo but I mean that's still high praise.

No I mean how cool the ending was and how it all came together sort of justifies how jumbled I think the rest of the show was. Like it sort of paid off.

I still think the story is a bit of a mess but the whole thing is cool. Kind of an ends justifies the means sort of deal? Ish.

I think they're both kind of fun but I could see why they would be removed. Studio in particular I think is cool but you need to have watched a bunch for that to have a real meaning, and when it gets that meaning it's rewarding. But it takes a lot to get to that.
