EA is valued at around $35 billion. Microsoft is valued at around $700. If Microsoft makes a good enough offer to EA's shareholders, it could happen. My pulled-out-my-ass guess is around $50 billion.

They seem to have plenty of competent female talent, but no one on Honda's planet of stardom.

IMO, Ronda is the biggest short-term needle mover since Rock/Cena 1, but it's a very short-term needle that would be squandered if you put her on a developmental show. You need to put her under the marquee spotlight immediately, even if that sorta means throwing her to the wolves.

After following her MMA career, though, I see her as someone who can't take criticism and might self-destruct if the wrestling fanbase starts turning on her.

Then the Bellas came out and that was when the genius of the booking really took over. - they really played on the smark fears of nepotism in WWE. The idea of one of the Bellas winning this when they are not particularly talented as performers in any way (and way, way behind people like Asuka, Sasha, Charlotte, etc) was genuinely terrifying.

Really? Maybe it's because I've been away from the product, but I never thought they'd have either win. I basically called the last 10 minutes perfectly as I was watching. I didn't even think the Bellas were fulltime with the company at this point.

Thoughts from someone who hasn't watched a minute of wrestling since last year's Mania:

- Alexa Bliss and Mandy Rose are goddesses. Maybe the two prettiest women in the company, though Sasha is also gorgeous.

- I enjoyed the Women's Rumble overall. Some very athletic ladies working in the biz.

- Nia Jax is great. Very fierce look!

- I knew about Asuka coming in, but she didn't do anything to show me why she seems to be the most over woman in the company. I'm sorry but do wrestling fans automatically go crazy for Japanese people who make dumb facial expressions? Kairi was more impressive to me with those elbow drops.

- Ronda is veeeeeeery awkward and I don't think she'll have a good pro wrestling career. I don't actively wanna chear against her... but yeah she just doesn't have it.

Williams seems to be going for a more subdued, atmospheric score. I haven't found any reason to complain, but yeah, there's nothing as memorable as the OT score and Rey's theme is the only specific piece that I recognize.

Though it's gotta be very difficult to make Star Wars music that's both unique and powerful. The opening crawl theme, Imperial March, Binary Sunset - they're among the most powerful pieces of music in cinema and beg to be reused.

I'm not going to insult anyone here, but the details of this particular story - even from her account solely - imo simply don't paint Ansari as a sexual predator, and I certainly don't think it's a damning enough incident to ruin her career.

For an incident that IS (to say the least), Eliza Dushku just came forward and said that the lead stunt coordinator on the set of True Lies molested her when she was 12 years old. The details are absolutely vile.

I'm with Seph here. Aziz doesn't sound like a predator - just a dude who tried to get more than she was offering, but what was done appeared (even from her account solely) consensual. Then she left and he never restrained her from doing so. The account suggests a girl who regretted the whole evening and decided to ruin his character because of it.

And I'm sorry, but the line about the wine immediately jumped out to me as ridiculous.

The rumors have been bad, but a Solo movie could be a lot of fun in theory. We know nothing about Han pre-ANH (movies only), and he started that movie as a grown man with a mysterious history. There's a lot to work with there - a hell of a lot more than with a Kenobi movie some people seem to want.

Yeah, many fans have issues with the direction of these new movies, but I've rarely heard people criticize the performances of the young actors. Daisy Ridley plays her part damn well. If anything, I'd say the least quality performances came from Carrie Fisher and Harrison Ford. Sacrilege or not, it felt like Ford kinda phoned it in, and I feel bad saying this, but it just felt uncomfortable watching Fisher with her voice and energy completely depleted. Everything she did seemed so... labored.

Divergent question, but has anyone here rewatched Rogue One? I remember general fan consensus being that it was almost "surprisingly" good, with many preferring it to TFA, and some even calling it their favorite Star Wars movie. However, I never see people actually discussing it, unless it's that random "Rogue One was good, and in fact better than [other Star Wars movie]" post.

I liked it in theaters but have had almost no desire to sit down and rewatch the whole thing since then.

I couldn't spring for the Pro either. I tried to play with the tablet, but it just wasn't that enjoyable and this was a Zelda game (the only thing in gaming that really hypes me these days), so I sprung for a $22 third party one. It did a very good job, but it's currently unavailable on Amazon. =(
