The rankings were good for getting big matches and making everything feel legit, but they were also very limiting to storyline and feud stuff.

The thing you don't know is that there was much less storyline stuff back then.

It was mostly just title matches decided by the rankings, those people do some promos at each other. Everyone else fights to move up the rankings. Teams form and some people create feuds and gimmicks, but a lot of it was just random matches and rankings based stuff.

Or at least that is how I remember it.

But 10 minutes ago I thought you were GM before Tom and then Tom took over when you left But this really seems to click, I think I had the events right but I had you and Tom switched in my mind.

Basically the Amnesia Bomb was a point where there was a lot of missed booking and a lot of Dante (and sometimes me and my trusty RNG) guest booking. They needed something that would work better and someone else to take over the 3rd show. You volunteered and then ended up running a whole brand! Yay you!

Before I stop my many long posts I have one last person I want to say something to.

Strife. It is my biggest UCA regret that we somehow never really worked together. That we never had an insane, over the top, just plain silly feud or team. It seems like it should have been inevitable, our sillier style and love for crazy and chaotic stuff would have fit so well. But it somehow never happened. I thought about it multiple times but the timing was just never right I guess. I think you even asked me to do a storyling once but I had already made plans. I honestly planned to reach out and finally do something when I heard UCA was ending but then I just never could seem to get the time and motivation to really get back into UCA and I refused to half-ass a feud with you because in my mind that was worse than it never happening and you deserved better because I knew you would be putting the work in. So I let it be the Dream Feud that never happened.

Some of your stuff was to much and you used to take UCA way to seriously, as you know and have said in this topic, but I have always respected how hard you try and the work and creativity of your gimmicks. I'm glad you found some big success later in your UCA career. You were a great part of UCA and I wish we could have done more together.

We actually won the tag titles (i cant remember if this was the same time) I believe right after the Amnesia Bomb. This was a big deal to me because it gave me my Grand Slam status.

Oh damn, you're right. It got lumped in with all my early tag team failure in my memory. Go us!

I'm pretty sure The_Doctors, Director of Fun, and all that was post amnesia bomb. I think it was the first thing I really did after it.

Eh, it kind of worked perfectly storyline wise. The Dream finally happens only for Football's prophecy to end up coming true when Jeff crushes it.

Plus it meant I had the shortest and longest reigns in UCA after my 2nd HW title match and that was just hilarious and awesome to me.

XIII. You are basically the King of UCA and not just for all your success. For the amount of time and effort you put into this. its honestly crazy to me so you deserve all that success. I've talked with you about UCA a bunch over the years so you know I respect the hell out of you for what you've done with UCA. It would have died a long time ago without you. I've had some great feuds against you and enjoyed teaming with you. Most importantly you often helped me get into storylines or pushed me to do stuff, which I often needed. In recent years I've been mostly absent from UCA. i always mean to do things but for one reason or another it doesn't happen. You never seem to give up on me though so thanks for that, I'm sure I have frustrated and annoyed you with my disappearing and not following through. I honestly regret that and feel really guilty about it. You deserved better from me, and for that I am honestly sorry. Thanks for pushing me as much as you have and keeping me a part of UCA.

I would like to vote for, I mean thank, Boko United. Boko, Dante, and GTM. When I had grown tired of being a bad guy you were the ones I went to. You guys were just having a blast, goofing around, swapping titles back and forth, being fun. I started with a feud with GTM that really got me thinking about it. Then I asked to join and was so glad you let me in. I never could have imagined how huge it would be for my career. Boko United just seemed to click with people and it fit me so well. I really thrived as part of it and you guys made being part of UCA so much fun. I loved interacting with all of you in the topics. Not only did a bunch of titles, but I became the HW champ again. And while the first one ended in less than a day this one lasted ages. The longest singles reign for a very long time (congrats DP on breaking that) and I kept thinking it would end every PPV. When it finally did at Epop against Boko I was not upset at all. It was truly the Boko United way after all. Thanks for letting me join you guys and for all the good memories. Boko United forever!

There are two specific feuds I also need to give shout outs to.

Apollo! Our Master of Melee feud is one of my two favorite feuds in all of my time in the UCA. It was so much fun and I loved how crazy and over the top it was. The exploding building was hilarious and awesome. I'm glad you won that feud cause you deserved it.

Kora. Specifically King Kora. I had this silly idea when I became Jester to become a court jester for Kora and then drive him insane. Not only did Kora agree to it, he embraced it and made it better than I could ever have hoped for. Everything about this storyline was a blast. From the slowly build where I was just a goofy jester who kept messing up and annoying you. To actively doing things to sabotage and drive you crazy. To you breaking and become a Mad King. The pay off was great and the build to our final match was some of the stuff I am most proud of. Once again I lost in the end and am happy for it. This was so much fun.

Alright thank you time. I'm going to try not to get make this to long cause I can get really into it when talking about old UCA stuff.

First and possibly most importatnly. Raven/ @ZeroSignal620. Without Raven and Tecknic I may have had a short and incredibly unsucessful UCA career. Since almost no one here was around back then, let me just say that UCA used to be more of a normal popularity contest and I was a slightly more than lurker on the board. I lost basically every match and was often at the very bottom of the LW rankings. My promos were weak and I never got more than random matches on random shows so I didn't really get into it much. Masters of Penguins was a tag team at the time with Raven and Tecknic, being heel Pittsburg Penguin fans. I also liked the penguins so I took a shot and PM'd raven asking if I could join. I never expected him to say yes, but he did. He and Tecknic let me be there 3rd wheel, they gave me a couple consistent votes and let me ride their coattails to my first title match and some actual success. Thank you so much for letting a nobody like me work with you Raven. I am forever grateful.

CPU & Zazi. When Nexus started in WWE CPU and I decided it would be great to do our own midcard/lowcard stable so we got my fellow Hawkeye Zazi and later Eddv on board and created WTHJH (What the hell just happened. Like the thought people had after the Nexus debut). It went shockingly well and we all moved up the card and saw success. Partly because Eddy and I both brought in other stables we were still a part of to make a solid voter block >_>. It was also a lot of fun. The first thing that really showed me how fun UCA could be. I loved this group so much. We even upset the Kingdom in a survivor series/modern warfare match which was amazing.

Eddv. I think we started off feuding with our separate stables where we were both the weakest members, then WTHJH started and you asked to join that so we became teammates. So goes out UCA story. You are the Kevin Owens to my Sami Zayn. We were always connected, ready to get into another feud or start teaming again at any moment. And it was always a good time. You were almost always the one coming up with plans and ideas which I loved cause it made my life easier and I always liked your ideas. You were just awesome to work with. Thanks for so many good memories and stories throughout our years in this company. My time in UCA would not be nearly as fun without you.

Dr_Football. My first real time near the top was thanks to you. Teaming up as a heel team with my Dr_Maniac account. I'm still sad we never won the tag titles (Which is also true of The Hawkeyes and The Browncoats. So many of my favorite teams never one). Then my first HW title feud was with you (I think) and I still love that feud. My first time as a true face since I started. The Boyhood dream against the Heel GM. You had an awesome promo about how dreams don't come true in real life. Man that was a good feud. And the story was one that really helped me win the match so huge thanks for that. Of course I lost it immediately from MitB cash-in but oh well.

Tom. My fellow Browncoat, Corporate partner, and friend. I always loved working with you and being a part of your brand. Because of you being a GM I got to become Director of Fun which is something I love to bring up from time to time since it is a position that was never officially ended. I'm probably the longest running "admin" in UCA thanks to the fact that it isn't a position that actually does anything. Even when we created it the thing was a gag with me in a closet just trying to be important. it was silly and fun. I really need to start making these shorter (plus I'm basically at the character limit) so let me just say thanks for all the talks about UCA, fun storylines, and of course for making the Melee Mayhem title which I do legitimately love.

Yeah, that's why I went with Black 2nd, but Harry Potter was always the plan. I think XIII may be the only other person I have ever told that to and he was equally surprised.

Haguile and I did not think that stuff through very well. I guess we both assumed if we kept showing up and pointing at people someone would eventually engage us and then we could bring in the 3rd guy.

For those who dont know the formal process for breaking ties in the HW division for the longest time was "rerun the match, but add Tecknic"

I think it started with him tying a few times in a short span and then he just started getting inserted into other people's ties because he never seemed to win the matches but would break the ties.

Speaking of Luchadors that's a story I want to tell. I don't remember what I was doing at the time but when I saw this mysterious Luchador character pointing and saying flippy-do and I thought it was great, so I sent the account a PM asking if I could join him. Haguile revealed to me that it was him running it and that he planned to make a whole Mauraders stable with 3-4 luchadors: Potter, Black, Lupin, and maybe Pettigrew. He was going to run all of them but instead said I could help. So I became Black because it wouldn't make the Harry Potter thing obvious right away and we started doing stuff together. But we were huge jobbers and everyone just ignored any attempt we made to start feuds or do anything with it. Then the brand split/two champion storyline became a thing and so our plan was dropped as Haguile had to unmask. So LuchadorBlack simply disappeared since there was nothing for him to do. Then Eddv got the account and was one of like 2 people who knew it I was black so we tried to team up but again we were ignored jobbers and Eddy ended up unmasking for another storyline. So the character disappeared again presumably forever.

Until I went on my hiatus and when I finally felt ready to come back decided that it was the perfect time to finally make a Luchador storyling work and finally reveal my identity. I got in contact with everyone I could remember that did masked stuff and planned out multiple feuds. it was the most I ever planned out for something in UCA. I really wanted it to happen this time. And while I was still basically a jobber at least the character wasn't ignored and it was happening. I was so glad when Sultan reached out to do a storyline with me. It was the first time anyone other then the account holders ever wanted to do somehting with the characters. Our gimmicks matched up well and I am very happy with that feud. Thanks again Sultan. And I finally got to properly do my surprise unmasking after years of having the account. Woo!

Sure enough I would have won the match had I not interceded and Maniac and I proceeded to have an amazing feud over his MW title that culminated at Summer Spectacular. I think Maniac always regretted his role in it - it was far too heel for him and he remained face the entire rest of his career but I just want him to know it was one of my favorite parts of this project.

Haha, glad to see this story told. I remember the biggest issue was convincing Tom to go along with it because he hadn't been face for long and didn't' love the idea of going back to heel GM so quickly.

And for the record, I don't really regret my role in it. It was a good storyline and I like how it went down. I really enjoyed writing my "I quit" promo to set up my quick return as guest ref. I just always worried that it would taint the KotB and afterwards I didn't like that I basically ruined the final of a big UCA thing. Its why I basically never brought it up after that feud ended. I didn't want people to remember how it went down. I really enjoyed the storyline and the moment, but afterwards I just didn't want it to be a black stain on UCA's history.

I actually really enjoyed playing heel at that time. My favorite time as a heel was still teaming with Football but I did enjoy the stuff with Tom as well. But as the time with the Corporation went on I got more bored of it and I really loved what Boko United was doing as goofy face characters. When I joined them I really didn't imagine I would be permanently face after that (not counting LuchadorBlack) but it just kind of worked out that way. It was such a unique group that allowed me to play around with my character without reinventing myself or changing all my allies. And I guess I just lean to playing good guy characters more, plus there are always plenty of heels in the UCA lol.
