Today my boss told me he had an exciting new project for me and then when he asked another guy about it that guy said oh I did that already.

They definitely do go too far. I would never want to be "friends" with my boss and it seems like a lot of those places force that kind of culture on you. If they wanted to be my friend they shouldn't have a job where they're in charge of me.

It's definitely Office Space, complete with a Lumberg wandering around with nothing to do and bothering people.

Probably what I like best about my job is how easy it is to read twitter and gfaqs during the day.

I have a degree and am an office drone. I make ok money doing my dumb job. Well it's ok by my low standards.

I know where my Life is Strange heads at, but I just played through (the year old game) Night in the Woods and it's another beautiful and quietly devastating narrative game. I think it's going to stick with me just as much as LiS.

I really enjoyed the early Clueless Gamer segments when it was just him and Aaron. The celebrity versions have their moments, and I'm sure they bring in a wider audience, but it's just not the same.

Yeah I stopped watching them after a while. He also became too good at games eventually which I guess was inevitable.

I realize there is rarely one reason for anything but what do you think is the main reason for declining NFL ratings? I think it's probably CTE but I'm starting to come around to the idea that the Patriots winning too much is a fairly significant factor too.

There's like a 70% chance the Eagles go up like 14-3 immediately and then end up losing. We'll have to resist the urge to believe better than we have in the past. Unless the Pats win a blowout.

Honestly, I don't know if this is a coordinated attack on free agency or if it's just the natural end result of the MLBPA giving away the farm in every new negotiation with the league, but it's really bad.

The head of one of the biggest agencies of MLB players tweeted a thing about how players might be looking at a boycott of Spring Training or worse. It's like I said like a month ago, this offseason is too terrible and there's a really good chance we'll be looking at a strike soon. It has to be done thanks to these penny pinching owners.

Man this Assassination of Gianni Versace show is fucking brutal. Good though.

Sports columnists are insane. Bernie Miklasz, maybe the most famous STL columnist, wrote that the Skins trading for Alex Smith was a good move. Ok whatever. But he managed to devote a third of his column space talking about how overpaid Sam Bradford is. Everyone who ever covered the Rams is absolutely obsessed with Sam Bradford. Still writing about him even though we haven't had a team in two years and haven't had Bradford longer than that.

I don't want to give away much so I'll just say Ultima is right that the thing he's referring to is on a fixed time, but don't worry about it because you're not actually on any kind of time limit.
