Ignoring all that Vikings bullshit so I can post again about the video game I'm playing.

I bought a month of PS+ to see if I can play online with my aforementioned poor NAT type. The answer is: kinda. When I get into a match it's fine. Any delay isn't noticeable. I just don't know if my struggles to get into a match are because of my connection or because the game is just broken. Lots of people on this site are complaining about matchmaking and everything so that might be it. Impossible to say. Anyway my current team is Goku/Adult Gohan/Krillin.

I contacted Amazon to ask why they didn't include the pre-order code for blue haired Goku and Vegeta and they said to ask about it again in 24 hours and then like 3 hours later I got an email saying they gave me a full refund. Wtf

I haven't digged too deep just yet. I was about to start the story mode. I would describe the game itself as sorta Smash Bros meets Marvel vs Capcom because it has the frantic pace and crazy visuals of MvC (plus you pick a 3 man team) but a standard set of moves that everyone does a la smash that make it really easy to pick up any character. It's a cool game.

So far the only character I think really sucks is Captain Ginyu. My favorites so far are Adult Gohan and Trunks.

There's no bottom to the skull cave. The main reason to do it is for the iridium ore you can get there. What I would do is save up a lot of stone and turn them into ladders so I could get down pretty low right away where the iridium starts generating better. I would also wait for a good fortune from the TV fortune teller before doing that.

I don't hate replay for such a silly personal reason as that. I can't even think of a game where replay really screwed the Cardinals.

There are plenty of scenarios where replay should be fine in MLB. Did the ball or the runner get to first base first? Was it a catch or did he trap the ball on the ground? But even the clear cut ones take incredibly long for no reason, and the actual challenge system is absolute nonsense. I just hate it so much.

I think replay has been a net negative on sports honestly. I was beating the drum hard on getting replay in MLB and it's basically been a disaster. I'd be very happy if they just got rid of it all tomorrow.

As a Brewers fan for over 35 years, I know better than to get excited about the trades.

I doubt the Brewers win the Central but the Cards are banking on finishing second and getting a wildcard, but the Brewers were probably already better than STL wanted to admit, so now getting leapfrogged looks a lot more likely to me.

The Brewers got Christian Yelich and Lorenzo Cain today. I wanna say Cain used to be in their farm system. Anyway, they were good last year and could be really good this year.

Who else is excited for the return of the XFL?! Finally we can watch terrible football without compromising our political views when one out of every a hundred players doesn't stand for the anthem. I hope Kaepernick plays in the new league.

I don't play exclusively handheld but I definitely play handheld a lot more than docked. I like to have the TV on while I'm playing something a lot of the time.

I haven't played my current Stardew file in a little while. I think I was like halfway through winter in year 1 in it. Have you ever played it docked? It looks surprisingly good on a TV and it sounds great.

Anyway, football is trash and there's no point to watching it so let's talk about video games again. Nier Automata is good and cool but not quite as fun to play as I want it to be.

It's really dumb how much NFL analysts (and Vegas) looked past the Eagles after Wentz got hurt. I get it, he was a big part of the team, but he wasn't the only part of the team and suddenly they're a home underdog against a 10 win team. Only like prime Peyton is good enough to elevate a mediocre team to a #1 seed.

They also threw batteries at J.D. Drew. But since I don't know any Philly fans it's fine.

That sucks for the Vikings but the Eagles are fine.

It would be so gutting to lose the Super Bowl at home, man. That alone makes me want to see the Eagles advance because we know the NFC team has no hope.

Even though I like to play it cool and just post that the Pats are gonna win it's impossible to not get swept up in the moment and let yourself believe that the decent result might happen for once. But no. Now that Peyton is gone Brady won't lose again until he's bad.

The Patriots will win the Super Bowl so this is all academic, but I think the Vikings will win tomorrow. The Eagles are probably better than the media has given them credit for even with Foles, but in my incredibly professional opinion I didn't see anything to change my mind too much about the Vikings last week. They just need to play less conservative when they have a lead (that's what I say about every NFL team I've ever watched)
