The Japanese government don't see this as a problem huh?

They do, actually. This is why they relaxed their immigration laws, and are continung to do so. Another pointer is how Abe, the current PM, wants to revise a pacifist article in their constitution. Rewriting article 9 might allow room to allow influnece in the region, allowing Japan to control their future in more direct ways other than trade. Their ministry of family welfare has several ongoing programs too.

Well to put it short, being a capitalistic slave to America basically killed off their rasion d'etre (90s bubble). All the difficulties of marriage stem from it. It's more due to non-marriages that marriages are expensive, and that the porn industry's huge, and that there are 'herbivore men'. Capitalism killed off their traditional culture.

They're 130 million strong though, so frankly speaking I don't think a declining population is bad. The island's too crowded.

The most common answer is your mom, but if you think about it the breadwinner is usually is your dad, so choosing your father would actually be much more rational.

I'd say Japan makes the best snacks, actually. Go to a convenience store in Japan and check out the variety. They value quality over quantity, so their snacks are usually on the spot.

Just bored. Let's share some poems. If made by a poet even better.

Never give all the heart, for love
Will hardly seem worth thinking of
To passionate women if it seem
Certain, and they never dream
That it fades out from kiss to kiss;
For everything thats lovely is
But a brief, dreamy, kind delight.
O never give the heart outright,
For they, for all smooth lips can say,
Have given their hearts up to the play.
And who could play it well enough
If deaf and dumb and blind with love?
He that made this knows all the cost,
For he gave all his heart and lost.

W. B. Yeats

And I really wished that Valkyrie vs Helen war was an actual element in the story and not just a flashback. It started out nice but... meh. Fenrir not being central to the story was bad too, seemed like a waste.

TopicTeaching religion instead of evolution in public schools. Thoughts?
TurtleInFreedom
10/30/17 8:38:54 AM

Religion shouldn't be thought, but philosophy should be taught in order to understand the religions. Philosophical notions such like ontology, epistemology, teleology should be taught so that people understand the issues between religion and science, understand the different concepts of 'self', understand morality and ethics, and so on. We shouldn't be teaching 'facts' like religious history, but rather teach things which underpin our current understanding of the world, both now and the past. After that, evolution could come as a sub-topic, as well as supernatural origin stories.

Basically, just bombard secondary education with philosophy classes, not classes meant for industry or just useless trivia.

They teach us that it's a powerful country, like Russia and China, but at the end of the day it's just another country to learn about. They tell us history from all over the world, then they let us form our own opinion

(in case you wanted a serious answer) :p

Do they teach you about the Marshall Plan?

I can always count on CE when it matters.

The genre doesn't matter. Could be a self-help, a historical, thesis, an argumentative, religious, political, etc.
