I'll be honest, it was either issue 74 or 75 that I never finished. IIRC, the font was some kind of strange, chinese inspired thing that I had a hard time deciphering, so I didn't bother.

The issue with the series is that when you ask "how is he interested in teaching life lessons to people if he kills 8 other people in the process?" people say "cause hes insane lol".

In absolute fairness, they did explain this decently well in the third or fourth one where he was too sick to continue doing his work and it turned out one of his apprentices was just making unescapable traps.

I had a fun time with the game. Was annoyed that after the epilogue, only had 99% completion even though all my systems said 100%, and there were no outstanding missions in my log.

Only issue I had was the RNG side missions. Find a random log or whatever at a landing site, then randomly drive around the planet hoping you get some dialogue indicating there is another one in the area.

Wolverine, but it made me hate him instead of liking him more. This was back in the 90's. He was on, I think, the X-men gold team. But he was always a special guest on the blue team. Had his own comic. Guest starred in ghost rider, punisher, whatever other books were out at the time. Make the x-men movies revolve around him.

Same thing with Star Trek: TNG. Didn't care for Data as a character, but it seemed like he was the focus of all the movies.

I quit at whichever the one on one fight against him was. Haven't touched the game in about 15 years now. Likely wouldn't have been so bad if I hadn't spent a ton of time leveling up my characters at that point. But the hero? I had him mostly as mage/support jobs so my physical abilities were almost non-existant.

If you don't mind silly fantasy, Piers Anthony's Xanth series is enjoyable. Think it is around 30 books in the series. Helpful to read in order, but not necessary. Supporting character in one book may become the main character in another.

It's annoying at first but as you get further into the game, weapons are thrown your way so much it's not really an issue.

Reminds me of when I first played the uncharted games. I was always an ammo hoarder in games, but this taught me to play totally different. So many guns laying around it was no issue to empty the clip and just pray and spray in the enemies direction.

I remember doing some when I was younger. Like no special weapons on bosses in Megaman games. Or not getting the sword in the original zelda, though I did kind of cheese it by grabbing the magic wand ASAP and using that as a sword instead.
