So far Antartica is my #1 show for the season (excluding Devilman), though there are still 3 shows that haven't aired yet that could potentially top it for me (Franxx, Fate, Evergarden), and that's assuming another show isn't a surprise.

I really don't understand the people who say DK is awful. It's not the best, but it's a solid watch throughout. It's in the upper half of SoL comedies. Of course that's not the greatest pool taken in total, but still.

Glad to see Antartica gets even better in episode 2. Hinata is amazing.

For what it's worth if you're willing to give Sentai dubs a chance (they've gotten a lot better in the last year or 2) they have a good selection to try there

If not, the sub selection is nice too.

Easy to check out now! Not quite the horrible day that was getting From the New World on BRD, watching it for 7 minutes, and then reselling it the same day.

I do like the characters in Yuru Camp, but there was just too much down time. Might just be first episode blues, I've still got it on the queue.

Liking HIDIVE so far, even though it does show that it's a beta. Also I can finally watch Legend of Galactic Heroes!...as soon as the stink of Vlado talking about it wears off. It has Big O in the meantime, and a bunch of OVAs for tv series, which other streaming services never seem to get.

Yuru Camp was fine, but it doesn't deserve to be in the same category as other strong SoL this season.

Mitsuboshi Colors was Yuyushiki: The Early Years, which to me is a good thing.

Kirito/Asuna got really good for about 2 episodes, then fucking tanked when the shit kid showed up.

Nobody should be surprised that swordz hates one of the greatest anime couples of all time, though. He's was pretty vocal about it back in the day!

Note that I couldn't vote for AraSenjou in good conscience be because I haven't seen Owari and beyond yet.

then they are dividing up a lot of these anime into paywalls that would normally just broadcast like any other show on Japanese TV (uncensored ecchi shows have paywall I think)

with all that and also anime will have a hard time getting to a wider audience and especially in the west where people turn their noses up at anything that isn't shounen friends as "weeb trash"
