Yeah I'm from Indonesia and Raka is also part of my real name. Malay names are still uncommon in media and...most other countries outside of Indonesia/Malaysia/Singapore, so yeah, no wonder.

Well, I arrived at the village. Some more exposition. This Lotus guy has a son, who's the last heir of the Sagitta people. Would be a shame if something were to happen to him. Especially now that we're sent out to the ancient library or something.

I also fought the Turtle Dove thing which wasn't very bad at all. I did fired at him until he was level 15 though.

Finally got some decent amount of time to play it.

First, we went to the Water Temple with the Vestaling to pray that the Strongfort doesn't attack it or something. I was honestly really surprised that we didn't get attacked at all on the way there and back again. Wonder if the Vestaling will play a bigger part later on.

Then they're holding the Flower Maiden and Bloom Groom competition. As expected, the contestants are fucked up people lol. But then some creepy guy showed up. Man, this guy is legit. Like he's so creepy, it's like he came from another genre outright.

OH NO EDEA IS DEAD haha yeah not really Alternis to the rescue, Geist got kicked out, yadda yadda, Edea and Alternis won the competition. The plot is pretty schizophrenic in town because at times it can get gory and disturbing but the plot progression can also be very basic and childish.

Ah, la vache! Some guy recognized the Moon language!

Apparently he's from some hidden tribe that protects the world from Ba'al devastation. Might be some shenaningans about how his elders came from the Moon. Oh yeah he's also kinda hot lol.

Aaaan apparently he knows about that beam of light. Of course. So Magnolia and co. will visit the village. Hmm...do I sense a jealousy plot incoming from Yew? Meh, probably not, he's dense.

But first! Time to get another asterisk!

Edea met a really annoying woman, lady DeWitt (I just got the pun in her name) and Edea was...appointed the Superintend of Education for Florem. They're building a school but can't decide whether to let it be coed or same sex.

Let's hear them out.

Mr. Swetti Traqsout (or something) was in Sky Knights and wants it to be like the academy, where people from all walks of life mingle together and share camaraderie. It does sound good. Oh, Barras Lehr is supporting him.

Then we have Ms. Rhea Veelings (nice name tbh), who wants to preserve the purity and tradition. Yawn. This is like integrating African-Americans again. Though I do like her better than Swetti, nicer design and better redemption arc. Aaand we have Einheria. I don't remember her voice being this mature/deep.

This gave me a bit of pause. I don't particularly want either asterisk. I like Rhea better. But yeah coed is the way to go, androgyny (and misogyny) is not a good thing.

So we beat Rhe and Einheria and social justice prevails once again!

Now we're going into the woods to visit that guy's village.

I also fought a lv. 15 Newborn Ba'al and heck that 85% Evade was annoying.

Yeah the later upgrades can take up to 99 hours as well but you can get villagers from the Internet as well, 5 per day. So there's no problem about getting enough Streetpass.

But with careful planning and BP Recovery, I managed to beat an Apparati. I'm currently trying to whittle down a Snowcap to level one.

Bravely Second spoilers I guess

I'm going to Mt. Something right now, as a mysterious voice tells Yew of an alternate route. From the way it says Bon Voyage and it bringing up ancestors, my bet is he's Yew and Magnolia's son.

As for jobs, I chose Red Mage (I agreed with Jackal more) and Swordmaster (tho I agreed with Kamiizumi more, but Summoner kinda sucks).
I haven't found really good combinations though.
Sorcerer and Bishop have cool gimmicks, I love them.
Fencer seems better suited for longer battles, but when I face off against bosses I'm not sure I want to bring Fencers.
And Charioteer is even more one trick pony. :/
Catmancer is 'whatever', I don't really like that you have to use cat food items.
