So yes, from that perspective, being pro-life and pro-death penalty is inherently contradictory, as is being pro-life and being opposed to child welfare programs. If you think that life is sacred, that should extend past birth to include them as babies, toddlers, and young children.

Locke is the central thread for everybody. He's the one that brought Edgar, Terra, and Celes (and arguably Mog) into the Returners, with essentially every other playable character being brought in from that core (as well as partly bringing in Strago and Relm) and then proceeded as the primary motivating source for Celes in the second half of the game. The game was an ensemble cast, with various characters taking turns as the main leads at different points, but Locke was the one that made just about everything happen or lit the spark that lead to everything happening.

He's rich and he'll be able to make sure his son is well off as well money-wise no matter what medical complications he experiences. He's upset at the idea of a non-wealthy person dealing with the exact same situation and possibly eating up the kid's entire lifetime benefits limit before they even become toddlers, thereby setting them up for inherent financial ruin through no fault of their own.

Asteroid, planetoid, dwarf planet, and minor planet (and plutoid for train-neptunian objects) could all be used to describe the same object, which is why the decision to make up a new term when they could've simplified the naming convention was especially dumb. They've turned it into an even bigger mess. Should've reclassified the current dwarf planets as planetoids, retired minor planet, and used asteroid for smaller objects as we currently popularly understand them to be.
