I still don't understand why rape accusations are taken so seriously without evidence when you wouldn't do the same for a murder. Rape is wrong of course, but so is arresting and trying someone for a crime based on an accusation alone. It's supposed to be innocent until proven guilty, not guilty until proven innocent.

Either the people who made Despicable Me didn't actually understand why Despicable Me was good or they're just reaching after the first movie because they're out of ideas for the subject matter.

And for the record the minions were not why Despicable Me was good.

Yeah, I get it, the minions are easy to merchandise, but Despicable Me wasn't good because of the minions, the heavier focus on them just makes the movies annoying.

If I had to describe this movie in one word it's be "frustrating".

There are a lot of amazing ideas in this movie, they set up for all of them, but none of them are paid off as the movie ignores all of them plays it 100% safe instead.

There is more to the Ghostbusters 2016 story, as most blockbuster movies spend about the same amount marketing the film as they did making it, and in the case of Ghostbusters 2016 they probably spent more on marketing than production.

So are we talking about purely how much money the movie made or how much profit they made from the movie? Ghostbusters 2016 was considered such a disaster that Sony shut down their Ghostbuster franchise division. A quick google says Sony lost over 70 Million on Ghostbusters 2016.

I think pretty much only nostalgia junkies get off on remakes.

That said there is a difference, usually a game remake at least has improved graphics, or if they're really ambitious improved mechanics, where as a movie remake just remakes the entire move with different actors, and sometimes try to change things which had no reason to be changed just to be different.

There is that problem with remakes in general, as they only remake things that were good the first time, rather than things that actually needed improvement, but if they were good the first time, why not just watch/play the original?

So remakes almost entirely revolve around remaking things that didn't actually need a remake.

You look at the Batman Animated series and that was considered acceptable for children to watch in the 90's, now we have shows like Teen Titans GO instead.

The only good parts of the episode was Heidi finally figuring out that Cartman is an ass and the relationship between PC Principle and Strong Women.

The season finale basically being an "It" parody was stupid, made worse by the fact that they actively explained within the episode that they were doing an "It" parody, thus breaking the rule of joke telling by explaining the joke.

What, were they afraid people might not get it? They laid it on ridiculously thick.

Kyle didn't learn squat, his advocacy group which started a war just vanished and he's suddenly back at home. No blame is laid on Kyle at all, everybody just stops caring about what he did.

Garrison running around South Park didn't make any sense, the whole episode felt extremely disconnected from the previous one which set up for this episode.

If you've never played an open world Bethesda game before it's absolutely worth the experience, but it's much better on PC where you can at least download the fan patch that fixes all the problems Bethesda straight stopped caring about and just went on to release pay DLC instead ( don't know why Bethesda doesn't just take the fan patch made by endless hours of fans fishing through all of the game's problems and just make an official patch out of it).

And past that fan patch you can download other mods to change things about the game you don't like, like the combat being basic and boring, and there being a lot of it.

Or you can just download waifus.

I prefer a Deadpool and Logan every once in a while even if it's mixed in with bad movies rather than the constant "riding the line and playing it safe for all audiences" Marvel movies Disney pumps out.

If Disney reacquires those Marvel movie IPs from Fox consider chances any future movies like those dead.

Least favorite is Windwaker. Not because Its a bad game, I just... really don't like large bodies of water in video games for some reason. They make me super nervous. I actually modified Morrowind, Oblivion and Skyrim to remove as much water as I possibly could.

I think "large bodies of water" present a different issue.

You could argue they're atmospheric, but they're essentially large expanses of featureless nothingness which is kind of boring to have to travel through and explore.

I don't seem to recall Oblivion or Skyrim having very large expanses of water, they had some decent sized lakes at most. Maybe there was that bit of ocean on the corner of the map of Skyrim but there is like 1 thing there and you never have to go back again.

Stealth sections in games not designed around stealth, uh. Going through the same temple over and over again that requires stealth in a game not designed around stealth, uh.

Not sure I have a definitive favorite. I will say I like the character designs on Ocarina of Time the most.

I'm not sure how I feel about the tournament any more. I'm kind of pissed about it. I liked a lot of the new characters that were introduced.

I find it odd how nobody discusses that Zeno is highly abusive of his position and essentially acts as an evil tyrant that uses the multiverse and everybody that lives in it as toys.

Zeno is the one everybody should be angry at, not each other.

Given, it's odd that Zeno would be able to organize anything given that he's mentally a child (some theorize the Grand Priest manipulates Zeno), but the only person who even considers removing Zeno from power is Frieza. That's something everybody should be after.

Although at the end of the tournament I kind expect Universe 7 to win and for Goku to just wish everybody back.
