You do know that P3's MC canon name is Makoto Yuki and not Minato Arisato right

Anyway I always think up a new name that at least attempts to fit the setting unless its a character with a canon name.

Either way, even if it can, my point about it basically just being an item in a game where items are absurdly plentiful stands though.

Really I don't know why you'd horde any items except maybe Zeram Capsules in Trails though. They're just all over the place.

Unless the status effect is seal or poison its pointless anyway (and outside of monster chests and boss fights who cares about poison) because you either don't care (lol mute on Zin) or are incapacitated so you can't use it in the first place (via sleep, confuse, etc).

Really not that good of a craft.

And really any craft that does the same job as an item isn't worth much in the first place, especially before 3rd when you have much less money to spend on ingredients to make cooking.

Tita is like the definition of a character that is great in random battles and bad in most bosses (there are a couple she's good for though).

Akira Kurisu is his manga name, but the manga names aren't canon.

It's people saying the scene doesn't make sense that bothers me. It very clearly does.

This is my stance too.

I don't think its a good scene. It's not. But trying to discredit something, even something that is bad, with false premises is hugely intellectually dishonest.

There are plenty of reasons to dislike that scene, and the movie in general, without people having to invent ones either out of spite or ignorance.

Why would there be massive damage?

You can survive in space for several minutes. You'll go unconcious from lack of oxygen in about 10-15 seconds, but even if Leia went over that (which I don't believe she did) its pretty easily handwaved by 'the force helped her slightly'.

I legitimately don't see why anyone has problems with the logistics of that scene.

It was shot really cheesily, which is the main issue I have with it, but it makes sense as a whole.

Like literally force jump (aka propelling yourself- against gravity no less, so it should be EASIER in space!) is one of the most basic force powers in the whole series.

Propelling someone short distances isn't even close to being weird for the force to do. Making things move (including the user) is one of the most basic things it has been shown over and over in the movies to be capable of repeatedly.

Like, that's one of the silliest complaints about that scene you could possibly make.

MenuWars point is pretty much how I feel too. It especially pissed me off when he literally kill steals FCs final boss off you and takes a lot of the credit there too. I do like him as a character though, overall.

But yeah probably best to get off the topic because spoilers in a playthrough topic.

FC definitely has the worst combat of the three. It starts off standard but really slow, gets okay around chapter 2 or 3, then devolves into an AoE spam fest for the last few chapters and all of the best AoE have long animations (turbo mode helps this a lot).

SC fixes that to an extent for the majority of the game by better balancing the enemies. It still kind of becomes an AoE spam fest toward the end though.

3rd I've had no problems with so far combat wise and I'm pretty sure I'm getting near the end (I'm on chapter 6). Much better designed combat.

All of this just applies mostly to random battles though. I've never had a problem with the bosses. Some of the harder ones are even quite tactical.

I would say the battle system lends itself much better to boss fights than random battles on the whole (though 3rd is much better about those so far imo), but otherwise yeah the battle system isn't that great. It's not terrible either though, especially with turbo mode now in the game.

But the character and world building is excellent, and the plot is very compelling if maybe not spectacular.

But I voted the last one. It was an entertaining movie while I was watching it but the more I think about it, the more I dislike it. Not only because I do think that the movie has gotten worse in my mind from a pure movie standpoint, but because of a lot of the things its done for Star Wars as a whole being very distasteful to me.

I live in Florida and I'd say '57 is chilly but not especially cold'

Most people here would disagree with me however (in that they start piling on the coats and clothes when it gets below 60)

They're in the same series, but other than that they are entirely plot unrelated. Higurashi is the first one of the two, so Umineko makes some references to it (usually joke meta references but there are also a few things like minor characters from Higurashi showing up in Umineko for cameos).

But you don't need to have played Higurashi first to understand Umineko.

I still kind of recommend Higurashi first anyway but it should also be noted that aside from both being mysteries, they are VERY different series genre-wise, so liking one doesn't really guarantee you'll like the other and the same goes for disliking.

EDIT: But yes Higurashi is not finished on Steam yet, so Umineko might be better to start with simply because of that.

And I take back what I said about playing 3rd first because I actually got 3rd gifted to me 2 days ago and I've been plowing through that like crazy (I'm on chapter 4 already) so I'd actually use it really soon!

You just put some files in a folder basically.

A quick google will give you the link. Ep5-8 only have voices so far, not sprites, but it probably won't take that long for them.

Same thing exists for all Higurashi episodes released so far, ftr

There are mods you can get to use both the PS3 sprites (which are the best sprites) and voice acting in the steam version.

Also because 'greed' is the one that symbolizes Ange the most, from a storytelling perspective.

You should tell her that Ryuukishi wrote Episode 3 the way he did because of feedback that 2 was too (I almost wrote another 2 there) hard to process and that the original Episode 3 before the rewrite was going to be titled "Land of the Golden Witch".

Supposedly he worked parts of his ideas for that into 5.

Saw the movie. Enjoyed it a lot. Definitely better than every other post-OT movie.
