Honestly, his foreign policy has been more sensible than his predecessors so far.

I think, all in all, that his deregulation and government streamlining goals pose an existential threat to a lot of special interests that benefit from the government bloat/inefficiencies/overreach and that also command a great deal of influence in society, due in large part to those benefits.

I do legitimately believe the younger brother was under the influence of the older, not unlike the Muhammad-Malvo dynamic. Life is more suitable punishment in this case, especially since execution would make him a "martyr." Trump need not pull an Obama by weighing in on matters such as this.

It's actually true.

Qutb's disgust with 1950s American society - specifically citing the song being played in church during Christmas as the youth danced with physical contact between the sexes - led him to try to prevent Egyptian society from going in the same direction.

He became a major opponent of the Nasser regime, leading to his imprisonment and torture, and thus the radicalization of his writings up until his execution. His students included Al-Zawahiri, who in turn mentored Bin Laden, while Qutb's brother gained favor with certain Saudi princes, leading to their support of radical Islamism worldwide.

Trump's invitation of Jamiel Shaw Sr. to his first joint address to congress, indicating he's very aware of the plight of black folk in Southern California, who are being terrorized and murdered by gangs of Mexican illegals dead set on ethnically cleansing historically black neighborhoods.

It's a dirty little secret the liberal establishment has barely acknowledged, aside from occasional journalists and humanitarian-minded organizations.

I think the worst part of Trump's presidency is that conservatives are now lumped in with the alt right nutjobs who worship Trump.

Pretty sure the only conservatives that don't like Trump are the die-hard neocons, the radical/racialist wing of the alt right, and what remains of the Johnson Libertarians. Even his more pragmatic-minded naysayers are willing to roll with the coalition.

8. Do you believe in climate change?

Sure. Anthropogenic? Perhaps. But the proposed solutions create more problems than they solve.

9. Do you support people from Islamic countries?

What does that even mean? I support their right to live how they please, granted they respect my right to live how I please.

10. So, what do you think of CNN and the mainstream media?

Mass media was a mistake.

11. So, do you consider yourself Never Trump?

Until he topples the leader of a sovereign state that didn't attack us, I'll consider myself neutral at worst and a supporter at best.

1. Do you believe that any groups lives matter more than others?

No. All lives of all individuals of all groups matter. But all individuals must keep off my lawn.

2. How many genders are there?

There are two sexes. Gender is such a politically and ideologically loaded word I don't use it anymore.

3. How do you work to dismantle sexism in your life?

By holding both sexes to the same standard and treating them equally.

4. What are your thoughts on guns?

Everyone who has not initiated aggression and isn't mentally incapacitated should be permitted to have one.

Everyone who has initiated aggression should have one too, and be shipped away where they can use it to defend themselves.

Everyone who is mentally incapacitated should have one too and their family should be held responsible for keeping them out of public.

5. Do you support Israel in its fight against Seventh Century savagery?

Only if we agree to defend them from invasion. But we shouldn't be sending them money they haven't earned or weapons they haven't paid for. We should also call them out on their acts of aggression against neighbors.

6. What is your understanding of settler colonialism?

Initiation of aggression, violation of treaties, and poor faith is bad. All else is fair. Take that how you will.

7. Do you think socialism is wonderful?

Sure, if it's voluntary and works. If it doesn't work, it's suboptimal. If it's not voluntary, it's a bad thing. My problem with like 99% of modern socialists is that they want to impose their socialist ideals on other people.

Feel bad for anyone who bought into the bcash meme

Must be a lot of new blood in the scene for it to happen again so soon though.

It was all coordinated. Bcash was added two weeks earlier than planned for no reason, it mysteriously pumps the day leading up to the announcement for no reason, this all happens the day the head of bcash will appear on CNBC to shill his coin, meanwhile the CEO of Coinbase hates BTC.

I'm going to laugh as BCH crashes back down below .1BTC, I might even buy a bit so I can sell at the next cycle, these pump and dump attacks are so fucking obvious.

To all the noobs panicking, just hold and ignore all this drama.

Is there empirical evidence of this pump? It seems as though BCH had been gaining ground organically due to skyrocketing fees for BTC.

I used to believe history would treat LBJ more kindly than he was in his own time. But I've since become convinced that he was far worse than they even thought at that time.

I don't think one term presidents like JFK or GHW can really compare. They could only do so much in so few years. Nixon was a criminal. He's not going to be remembered better than Obama. LBJ was really good on the civil rights stuff, but he also gets tagged with the Vietnam debacle. I think Reagan was generally a disaster for the political culture that he ushered in, but I conceded that huge swaths of the country loved the man.

LBJ was an active roadblock to civil rights before he was president - and his party still was at the time he signed the landmark acts.

FDR would be seen as one of the worst presidents if not for the cult-like lionization and presiding over the country during WW2. Reagan was hit or miss, but his hits and misses were both of significant magnitude.

Truman, Eisenhower, and Carter I believe, will be better appreciated, while history won't go so hard on Hoover or Bush Jr. Clinton will be at the lower end, less than average for certain. Wilson may legitimately overtake Buchanan as the worst in history for basically creating all the modern world's problems.

Lincoln, will continue to go down as the most consequential in history for an assortment of reasons that reflect both the best and worst of America.

Too soon to tell with Obama, but I think he's going to go down as average at best, and at worst he'll find himself in the bottom half of the list for his foreign policy blunders - he had the foresight that Bush didn't, and made the same mistake in a far more geopolitically significant region.
