Nemesis: A giant mutated monster that stalks the main character (Jill Valentine) in Resident Evil 3. He is often preceded by his trademark theme, but after officially meeting him, he'll randomly appear during your journey to kill you. He's literally random. You can pass through a certain area 50 times, and he'll pop up the 51st time without warning. Sometimes with a rocket launcher in tow.

Lu Bu: A recurring officer in Dynasty Warriors who is always leagues above you whenever you encounter him 90% of the time. An ally officer is meme'd by his declaration to do not persue Lu Bu. For good reason. Trying to fight him without backtracking after grinding will lead to death by one combo.

Big Daddy: A giant scubba diving thing that makes whale sounds and weilds a large drill arm in Bioshock. An enemy that is mostly found patrolling with a little girl creature called Little Sister. Trying to harass, or worse attack, a Little Sister will cause the Big Daddy to get enraged, light up red, and wreck you. Without sufficient tonics (magic, basically), items, or weapons, you're fucked.

Black Knight: A recurring enemy unit in Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance. He will most likely one-shot your units if you're dumb enough to attack him before the stage he's designed to be defeated in. Often appearing late in a stage or simply being stationary until a certain point. Provoking him will typically lead to a death.
