Let's say you are making a Megaman game... one of the few bosses where the weakness weapon did something other than just more damage was Megaman 10's Nitro Man. Similar to Spark Mandrill he gets frozen by the ice... but unique to Nitro Man is that his charge attack is interrupted as he slips and crashes. There are a few other bosses that do this - Armoured Armadillo loses his armour when shocked, and you can cut off Flame Mammoth's trunk (with a non-weakness weapon!
