Does anyone even want that? A time where stds and aids were rampant and sex was equated with a possible death sentence if you don't use protection?

It would be like wanting horror movies to "punish" teens for having sex again by killing off the first couple that engages in sex and sparing the "virgin" at the end like those old school horror movies.

Trapped inside a house with Ashley and Luis. Zombies everywhere. Just securing the perimeter, was wondering where the hell Ashley is but she's hiding in a locked wardrobe that seems impervious to damage, very good.

Got some incendiary grenades and flash grenades lying around. Accidentally shot Luis though, now I even gotta watch out for him. Still dude is pretty useful, he chucked some handgun ammo at me.

There's no end in site with the mob though, is this where we make our last stand.

I liked Chloe and then I started to like like her if you know what I mean. She's so beautiful, funny, smart, resourceful, just amazing

You should! It's this really fun wild west 2.5D type shooter and the shotgun reminded me of that game immediately. It's by lucasarts and yet not a lot of people know about it, and it has got great cutscenes and story.

One of my favorite games of all time. Rarely do I go back and replay games but that one I've gone back to a number of times on different consoles. I'm happy for you that you are able to play it with minimal spoilers. Keep posting your commentary, it brings back memories.

Well it's still trippy and pretty cool, reminds me of a game I played back in the late 90s.

Also makes me really appreciate what we got, because the underworld city of rapture is beautiful and deserves hd graphics.

If you move your cross hairs (on the Wii version, don't know about the others) they will highlight red even if you cannot see the trap yourself. Then you can shoot it and presto you're safe. But I didn't know what console you were playing it on.

That's what I've been doing too! Very useful, but with how worried I am of a zombie jumping out of every corner I forgot to check the ground beforehand and both me and Ashley succumbed to a damn bear trap at one point or another.

And damn did I mention they barred up like every passage in the village? I can't even go back. And all the chickens in the farm are gone... no more eggs.

Thankfully a chopper is being sent by Hunington to rescue us.

Well, I just replayed it. And it's hella fun.

I don't think nidoking even has much of a move pool besides double kick back in gen 1. But he is a tm beast, you can teach him earthquake.

I love this game for being in color and for giving us all 3 starters. Makes me wanna replay it just to get a bulbasaur, charmander and squirtle again. So fun.

It's tempting to just catch an Abra and solo the game with a Kadabra/Alakazam that knows psychic, but I resist just to get to use the starters as my main team. Grinding in the diglett cave, does anyone else do that?

On that note what are incendiary grenades even good for? Hand grenades are the ones that kill a crowd of enemies instantly and save me a lot of bullets. But incendiary grenades don't even burn the enemies to death why? I can't slash them all with a knife once they're down, only a couple.

Same. GTA3 was great when it first came out. But now there is almost no point in going back to it since it is heavily outclassed by it's sequels/expansions in every way.

She's a huge pain in the ass. Liberty City Stories made me hate her even more.

Yeah that makes sense if the primary objective was to kill Catalina. As a kid I was horrified and never experienced anything like it, killing the damsel in distress you set out to save. Now I guess I don't mind it since looking back we don't actually do anything with Maria and don't really have much of a relationship. I bet they never even slept together.

Does the protagonist... kill maria at the end? The hell did I save her for?

This is like asking what the true goal for link or Mario is. They're just silent protagonists, they're not the kind of games that really focus on story as much as gameplay and music.
