| SrRd_RacinG 11/03/17 8:22:37 PM #1 | Amensia: The Dark Descent.....uh....not sure why this game is so praised. The enemies never truly posed a threat. Think I died under 10 times. I was so thrown off by how easy it was to stay away from them (and there weren't many encounters, anyways). The sanity-meter thing was dumb. It has a good atmosphere and decent puzzles. But over all: 5.5/10 Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs. Wow! Much more intense! More fun. A bit more modern feeling in its hide and seek gameplay. More linear, though. More focus on tension through audio and pacing. I liked it a lot more. 7.5/10 Justine (DLC): I haven't beaten it BUT it's the DLC for the first game and the enemies FINALLY behave as I would have expected in the main game. They know where you are more easily and are more intimidating. Once you die, you must return to the start, though. --- |

They usually just walk the other way. The puzzles are not terrible but I had higher hopes for this game. --- |
