To be honest i call it bootleg madoka because i don't like MGRP and that sounded like the best degrading comment to make about it since it doesn't make sense and it makes it look bad. I understand. The series is... frustrating lol. How far in did you watch/read it? legendarylemur posted... Oh, I didn't read the LN yet, like I said, I only watched the anime and simply assumed. I guess that explains why some action scenes are not very well animated XP. La Pucelle vs Cranberry was a decent fight though Yeah, the LN is very barebones and the anime added a few things and improved on some other scenes. Just to list a few -A lot more foreshadowing in the anime -Mechaloid whatsherfacebitch didn't even have a backstory in the LN nor did she interact with Winterprison and Sister Nana. She basically only exists to be slaughtered by my babey -Alice vs Mary -Expanding on the La Pucelle vs Cranberry -The anime made Snow White even more of a baby -Mary's death was cooler in the LN. In the anime, the shattered glass is just a distraction for the shuriken. In the LN, Ripple throws a giant glass panel at Mary, who shoots it into 1000s of pieces. But each of those little glass shards retains the "Always hits their target" magic of Ripple's. So Mary uselessly attempts to shoot down the glass which then proceeds to barrage her and shred her to death. Haven't read past --- |

From my experience, the action in the LN is pretty barebones but the anime expanded on it. Hardgore Alice vs Calamity Mary never even happened. legendarylemur posted... I've gotten so many hundreds of reblogs and likes because I have posted so much Cookie Bag posted... Oh it started before madoka guess i can't call it bootleg madoka after all. Every idiot already has lol. Because apparently there cannot be two series with similar themes without. everyone always comparing the two and saying one is better than the other. The only thing they share is magical girls and a dark theme. MGRP is many many many times more violent than madoka, which doesn't actually really show any explicit violence aside from Probably part of why High School fleet was doomed to fail because every idiot is too busy comparing each and every second of the show to Girls und Panzer instead of just letting it be it's own thing. --- |
