I hated the little attempted rescue scene they had to save Reek. They literally watched the guy walk away and open the gate to his dogs. Why didn't anyone pop an arrow or axe in his spine then?

I generally disliked the existence of his character, I didn't understand why the story needed to have such a sadistic and sociopathic character. His antics felt more for shock value not a necessity that he must have been feared as the plot demanded a character like that.

And it just annoyed me even more when S5 had Petyr marry Sansa off to him.

I think his CHL should be revoked. He tossed out the safety precautions I KNOW he was taught during his classes.

In fact, I'd be for required firearm safety classes before owning a firearm at all. I knew a guy about 8 years ago that shot himself in the head on accident, on his birthday, because he was cleaning his gun and didn't check the chamber. Died right in front of his wife.

It could have been prevented if he knew proper handling.

Maybe I should rephrase. The damage is already done here, he had an accident with his gun and got shot. And got his wife shot too. What's revoking his CHL going to do now? Pain is a morbid but decent teacher, especially when a loved one is involved. Are you guys expecting him to have another accident? Because I'm betting Pain would have taught him to be more cautious the next time around.

IS saying "Yes, we made Corrin with the intention of getting her into Smash"? Of course not. But the facts remain the same, Corrin has a special skill where she does a bunch of flashy moves that all coincidentally pass for individual moves themselves in a fighter (the skill itself is no different from another offensive skill like Luna), her dragon shifting trait is irrelevant to the Fates storyline, and IS approached Sakurai about putting Corrin in Smash.

No different parts of the Bible were originally in different languages. The New Testament was almost entirely written in Koine Greek, for example (although some parts were arguably written in Aramaic, the language Jesus spoke). There isn't any Hebrew except for maybe a few words here and there.

He's not talking about the original languages. I believe is correct that the English translation came after the German version. They say the Old King James Version was a translation off of the German translation.

And honestly, I hate the fact that the Bible went through a series of translations. I remember reading an article about how there are stories whose themes are distorted because the level of expression they had in Greek couldn't be replicated in English.

This is one thing I respect Islam for, all the texts are in their original language and everyone reads the same book, verse to verse.

I urged Bernie to work as hard as he could to bring his supporters into the fold with Hillary, and to campaign with all the heart and hope he could muster. He might find some of her positions too centrist, and her coziness with the financial elites distasteful, but he knew and I knew that the alternative was a person who would put the very future of the country in peril. I knew he heard me. I knew he agreed with me, but I never in my life had felt so tiny and powerless as I did making that call.

This is why I have no qualms with Trump winning and see these 4 years as a necessary sacrifice. . If I had to choose between a candidate who's rigging the system but would maintain the status quo versus a egregious and laughably embarrassing candidate who would surely burn the place down, I have to go with the latter. Under no circumstances should you compromise the integrity of the system if it's built to be trusted. We got a bit lucky where Clinton has her own agenda but wouldn't rock the boat for the country's people internally, but what if we had a competent Trump in her position with regards to controlling the party? We'd be more than screwed.

Because $65k - although excessive - is not an unimaginable amount of money for an event like this. Work off the basis of say, $250 per head for 250 people and there goes your 65k. We're talking about a private party at the white house. Could have been $500 for a head for 150 people. Or $1000 a head for 65 people. You get the idea. Shit is expensive when you add in all the overheads. It's not just a $3 hotdog.

I've actually worked in catering for a bit. One of my events, we charged $800 in total to feed a good 50 people, giving a fruit platter, cheese platter, some local hot food, and drinks.

$250 per head IS OUTRAGEOUS. We're cooking in bulk, there's no way they're going to charge that much FOR HOTDOGS AND PIZZA. What hell is that hotdog made out of? Grade A5 Kobe beef? What fraught.

Anyhow, you're missing my point. There are a billion and 2 inconsistencies to make it clear as mud that the article Darmik linked has nothing to do with the "private pizza/hotdog" party.
