So now that I have a rare blade, should I choose a character to bond based on the # of rare blades they have? I've been balancing to make sure they have the same number of blades total but now that rares are on the table I imagine commons matter a good bit less.

The first several grail wars were separated by 60 years, but this one came early (don't remember why or if it was even explained).

There are three different routes in the F/SN VN. The original anime (which is not great) covers the first (Fate) route, and UBW covers the second route (which is both a better route and is adapted much better).

Apparently the same studio that did F/Z and UBW is making a movie adaptation of the third route (Heaven's Feel).

If the SALT thing is out, that was my main fear for this bill. It just felt like this bill was so specifically vindictive towards the people who didnt vote Republican (as opposed to representing the entire country). At least now it feels more like its fucking over everyone equally.

SALT is still being majorly gutted. Including it up to a cap is definitely way better than killing it completely, but blue states are definitely still being fucked over.

Wait so was this provision taken out or has it just been the Senate bill and not the House bill that's been in the news the past few days?

It was never in the Senate version. It was in the bill that the House passed a week or two ago.

From what I've read the most likely scenario is that the House just passes the Senate bill (because that would let them avoid another vote in the Senate), but it's possible that they can't get the votes for that and need to actually go to conference to reconcile the two bills. If that happens I have no idea whether or not that particular provision is likely to make it in to the compromise bill.
