Right.

I don't know why Americans care so much about this. We play our national anthem every morning and stand in silence towards the flag out of respect for what we have. My nation is far from perfect, but I'd rather be here than literally any other country in the world. Taking a knee is a pretty passive way of showing that you are very upset with the imperfections of your nation, but causing such a large outrage about it, so much that even I am hearing about it in another country, is downright absurd.

This.

The anthem and flag represent the country as a whole. Today, its citizens have rights, a good economy, jobs and basically all their necessities are met. No country is perfect but paying respect to the national anthem is a silent validation and appreciation of the sacrifices of those who fought and died so that the people may live in peace and have a chance to chase and acheive their dreams. They represent everything GOOD in that country and remember its struggles for independence and freedom.

Paying respect for its symbolism isn't a lot of effort and it doesn't have to be a political statement. It is more of a silent thank you and appreciation that you are where you are and have the life you have.

There aren't many countries that grant freedoms of protest or speech. They should at least respect that.

Other countries aren't so lucky.

This was obviously done to provoke a response as it can be interpreted as racist or not.

So, even if he said he just wanted to go back to the land of cotton without specifying a role, he's just pretty much dancing on the line that divides what's racist and what isn't. And that's just not cool.

That's not a good thing a good person would do.

At first glance, that may seem so but when you really think about it, it's not really unfounded concerns.

Women from KSA are groomed from an early age to be silent, timid and demure. They won't be assertive or confident as most normal, modern women are.

Even if they go through training and tests, the real world is very different. There are people who have zero patience on the roads who can and will intimidate women into making rushed and wrong decisions that lead to traffic accidents.

Now I'm not saying that every woman is LIKE THAT. However, their backgrounds, childhood and upbringing are factors. Confidence is first taught at home and is a key factor in successful driving.

I live in Dubai, UAE and there are many accidents in main highways and freeways almost on a daily basis. A lot of them that involve women usually stem from the same cause: indecisiveness, distractions and recklessness due to indecisiveness and distractions.

There will definitely be major shifts in the dynamics in their roads but hopefully it won't be too drastic.

Tried this once...Didn't work...Would not try again. Too many complications. Might be different if I also had kids.

what do you consider to be the complications? I might even say that most of the women i see out and about that i'm attracted to already have a kid.

Oh.....many, many complications.

Here are some:

1. Life goals: When you're young and single, the world is at your feet. You care not for what others think and know no repercussions for most of your decisions. For single mums, not so much. Their goals will tend to gravitate towards her dreams for her children. That means there are things that she may abstain from that a young man may find boring or uninteresting. Her choices in career, education or even WHERE she lives will be determined by how she thinks will benefit her children.

2. Family dynamics and Partner expectations: Like it or not, any man she dates or associates with will be exposed to her children. She will expect the man to bond with them. Single mums ultimately will want a man to settle down with and assist her in raising her family; financial, emotional and physical.

3. Maturity levels: Girls become women when they have children. That means their levels of maturity shoot upwards in such a short time. Their personal passions and/or dreams are set aside for the betterment and planning
of the future of her children. She may want to date a young man as a testament to her youth but will eventually realise that she needs a man and not a boy.

There will be a lot of tension and awkwardness.

Of course I'm referring to genuine dating and not flings.

The managers most likely read every review, but giving them a bad review will give them incentive to fix it for next time. Giving them a good view in spite of it will think you don't actually mind. If possible a medium review would be best because it shows they could have got a good review and they might next time if they fix their service.

There's no point in leaving even a medium review. It's asinine to bitch about something as ridiculous as that.

That's fine.

But think of it as a way of improving their customer service. Businesses survive and thrive because of superior customer service and repeat customers etc etc.

Different people react differently to different things. In the future, if this girl makes the same mistakes again and again, another customer might react worse. It's good to help whenever possible. And it won't take too much effort or time anyway.

Not exploring in RPGs. I'm talking about not exploring the town, or reading the instructions and hints carefully.

When I was a lot younger, I assumed that RPGs were like SuperMario. Jump and run and avoid obstacles; beat baddies.

I didn't take into consideration: equipment upgrades, sub quest completions (that can yield EVEN BETTER equipment and better storyline insight) and levelling up.

I used to just play through and when I'd get stuck on a boss, I'd keep playing and playing...never trying anything new.

Omigosh.....awful.

I understand your concern that it could've been a health issue. But luckily, nothing happened.

Let's try to move on from that. I do understand that she goofed up; everyone does every once in a while. She needs to be told this. Perhaps you may give her a tip or two if you shop there again. But giving her a poor review can jeopardise her career.

:(((

Two wrongs don't make a right.

Maybe you can give her a neutral review and add the little tidbit in the way of a suggestion...?

Just my opinion though.

Not outraged. Although I can understand WHY parents felt the way they did. As parents, they love their children and want to preserve their innocence for as long as possible. That's why even grown adults will always seem like children to their parents. Parents see their offspring as children.

These girls' costumes and routine were provocative and sensuality easily comes to mind. That puts parents off as they find it difficult to reconcile the innocence that they believe should still be there versus the sensuality and maturity these girls seem to desperately want to demonstrate.

Personally, I find the whole thing laughable and not worth taking seriously. The whole thing was tastelessly done.

It's fine that you're giving effort into not hurting her feelings. You're not lying per se. It's just a little white lie with her feelings in mind.

However, perhaps you would consider making it up to her when you have the time. It's also nice to just remember that your mum loves you, misses you and want to spend some time with you.

These moments are precious; especially to mothers.

My mum is the same. I spend every Saturday morning and noon with her. And she makes it a point to have time for me too.
