I put in a ton of hours at launch but didnt actually ever do a dungeon or even start the storyline past Kakariko really, since I intentionally explored like a madman. Then I got married and didnt play for a while, and its seemed daunting to jump back in ever since. I thought starting fresh on Master Mode would be the perfect opportunity, but so far its just doing the parts Ive already done but avoiding all contact with even basic bokoblins because its certain death, which takes away the fun of fucking with them (nothing like springing a creatively deadly trap only for them to lose 1/4 of their health and immediately regenerate to full). I might just go back to my normal play and try to get my bearings. --- |

Like someone pointed out above, its an entirely plot/dialogue based game about teenage American girls written by middle-aged French guys. There are virtually zero lines that stick the landing or feel authentic, which really muddies what could otherwise have possibly been interesting. If that doesnt bother you, I get why it could be enjoyable, but I just cant deal. I only got as far as I did (Chapter 4, iirc) because my sister and I made a joke out of it when I lived at home. Wed grab some beers and just cackle at how painful the dialogue was. --- |
