If we're not going to get any reasonable gun control (licensing, etc..) then can we at least force manufacturers of guns (and the places that sell them) pay the families of the victims outrageous amounts of money? I mean that doesn't go against the second amendment. And it helps the families of the victims (who no doubt are incurring funeral fees that they did not expect) Repeal the Protection of Lawful Commerce in Arms Ac.

Pence and the others who complain about kneeling in the NFL only do so to try to make themselves out to be the victim. Because they have a need to feel like the victim in everything. It's the persecution complex. Of course some of them are just racist, and don't like the idea that black people are protesting (they'll complain about violent protests, and then peaceful protests too. They want to dictate the terms in which people protest; namely where they can't be seen or heard). And then you have those who fit into both categories.

Pascal's Wager isn't a very good wager tbh. It assumes that the only possible outcomes are "Christian God" and "No God". Ignoring Hindu God, Pagan Gods, Greek Gods, Xenu, any number of unnamed gods, Pixies, Fairies, A Computer Programmer who rewards logic over faith, and any number of other potential scenarios. I've always found the agnostic title weird. Agnostic isn't really on the sliding scale of theism/atheism. You can be an agnostic theist, or an agnostic atheist. Gnostic means you KNOW, and AGNOSTIC means you aren't 100% sure. But that has zero to do with what you believe (or don't believe). It often is nothing more than a means but to distance ones self from atheists (since most people who identify as agnostic don't believe in gods)

It also leads to situations where atheists get asked by well-intentioned theists "Why not just be agnostic?" When most atheists are agnostic. We just don't identify as such because we find god to be improbable, and need evidence to believe any of these gods exist. It also depends very much on the definition of 'god'. I mean belief in SOME creator, and belief in a specific creator are two very different things.

I mean I'm not going to deny the possibility of a god, but I'm not going to believe in one without sufficient evidence. Just like I'm not going to deny the possibility of magic universe creating pixies, but not believe in them without sufficient evidence. I think the existence of both are equally probable.

It's weird how some people will go out of their way to belittle transgender people. Especially when they have little to no impact on their own lives. I liked Bob. And I don't feel that He was forgotten at all. Especially since Mike brings him up. If anything, I felt his death had more impact than Barb's. Barb was... Nancy's friend, and that's all I really remember about her. I don't think any of the rest of the main cast (aside from Jonathan and Steve) even really met Barb. Bob on the other hand was good with electronics, started the original AV club, was 'uncool' dad who ended up actually being pretty cool. He gave Will some well-intentioned but bad advice. And he ended up being really brave. Not to mention he's played by Sean Astin, which helps a lot.

Well, most game file sizes are less than 1 GB (except something like NBA2k18 which I think takes up 5GB but you didn't list that game). Of course part of that 32GB will probably be dedicated to something else, I think around 6 or 7. If they plan on buying games digitally, it definitely won't be enough. If they plan on buying games retail, then it might be enough for a while.

Depending on the climate you live in, you may feel differently. I think upper 80's can be hot, but once you get to 90 I don't think it's ridiculous for anyone to say "It's hot". I think 45 isn't too bad either, but once you get there it's reasonable to think it's cold.

A lot of people donate to charity because they think either:

A. They'll get a tax break
B. It'll get them into heavn
or
C. Public Relations

There's some people who do it because they genuinely help people. I know that I do (don't believe in god, don't claim charity on taxes, and don't have any PR anyway). I hand out water bottles to the homeless, and donate money to Doctors Without Borders and Standupforkids (both terrific charities btw). But I recognize some people need the incentive to help people, and don't necessarily see anything wrong with that. (I have a bigger problem with scam charities, where the charities give outrageous salaries to their CEO's, spend money on politics, or even on themselves) Helping people for the right or wrong reasons is still helping them. Ideally everyone would do it out of the goodness of their heart, but if they did... then we probably wouldn't have a need for charities at all.
